The parking meter has been working for quite some time. Parking fee for cars is 3€ for the whole day. Can be paid in cash, I don't know about cards. Can also be paid with Easypark app. I always park at the small parking lot that's a bit elevated behind the Duty Free. No fee there. The fee is paid across the little bridge. You drive past the meter. The ground had a blue line drawn last year from where onwards. Yesterday I wasn't paying attention if the line is still visible.

Parking meter takes only coins and no change, at least last year. Good to know.

Avalanche bulletin 1 for 28.11.2021 at 6:30 for Tržič Municipality area.
General avalanche risk above 1500m in Tržič Municipality is 2nd level on 5-level European scale. Above 1800m asl locally 3rd level.
Mainly grassy slopes with enough steepness dangerous, expect small spontaneous dry snow avalanches. Higher, above 1800m with small load, above slope 35° can trigger small dry unbonded snow avalanches.
In two days up to 70cm snow at ~1500m asl. Lower somewhat less. Snow at start of snowfall somewhat wetter fell on frozen ground. Above 1800m partly on old frozen snow, no bonding there. Yesterday, Saturday above 1700m SW to W wind gusts to 50km/h, transporting snow and building slabs. Lower wind somewhat less.
Today and night to Monday still snowing. At 1500m up to 30cm dry snow can fall. Air temperature around -3°C, SW wind to 20km/h. Snow line today daytime around 700m.
Night to Monday moderate north wind will start. Cooling. Air temperature at 1500m around -7°C, at 2000m around -10°C.
Today and night to Monday still snowing. Up to 25cm snow can fall at ~1500m asl. Lower somewhat less. Snow that fell at lower altitude is wetter. Today still SW wind making slabs. Tomorrow, Monday winds from north directions and cooling. Due to fairly low temperatures in coming days snow will transform slowly. Avalanche danger in high mountains will locally increase! Due to wind slabs will form. At those places with smaller additional load on snow cover you can trigger small to medium-sized slab avalanches.

Let me explain:
- The service road is exposed to at least one extremely dangerous avalanche path. A gully actually runs over the service road, collecting snow from above. The section itself is relatively narrow (about 20 m), but if an avalanche triggers, you're gone.
- The slope where winter movement is usually recommended - across Veliki plaz (and where the marked summer trail also runs), is exposed to avalanche from Begunjščica.
Opinion: I prefer moving along the service road because the dangerous part is much shorter. In avalanche-prone conditions, I don't go at all and limit movement to the start of the service road.
