Crampons and ice axe are still mandatory for Grintovec! Even last weekend the ascent with gear was ideal, several hikers without gear wisely turned back on the summit.

Via Amalia path is currently closed! Passage between Zmajev greben and Suringar bivouac is dangerous.

Such comments are totally unnecessary! Isn't there already enough negativity among us? As if you need it so much to write such a sentence and wait for the challenged one to respond, then "hit the poor guy". Go to the mountains, you'll surely have something nicer to write than this and you'll do something good for yourselves too.

Yesterday, Sunday 31.03., someone [among the] Koča na Kamniškem sedlu visitors lost one black thinner glove. I brought the glove to [the] valley, [the] owner can pick [it] up at Planinsko društvo Kamnik [headquarters], Šutna 42, Kamnik. Can contact me by mail too.

Yesterday we broke trail along the marked path from Knez farm, past Knezova planina, to the summit. We decided to try crossing along the ridge further, over Lucjan to Rožni vrh. Due to dense bushes and deep sinking into the snow, after descending from Lucjan to Robanova side, we decided not to continue but descend through forest and gullies to the path we took up. Everything went fine until the final descent to the path, where we ended up above steep rock jumps. After a bit of searching for passages in very steep forest, we reached our path, right on the cart track above Knez homestead. Don't let our tracks lure you into crossing the ridge!

Yesterday we locked the hiking poles of the hiker who went to Brana in the afternoon in the hut. You can call me, contact me and we'll arrange when we bring the poles to the valley. Sorry for the misunderstanding, they were put away in good faith that they were forgotten. Andrej

Don't misunderstand, I didn't mean to teach you anything, just to point out how it is in winter with gear and conditions!
People are different and what is an undemanding path for one can be demanding for another - depending on experience. Just that! Safe and pleasant path to the beautiful end.

The path was icy in places! We walked without crampons, you do as you know!
It's right to have winter gear in your backpack ALWAYS when you go to the mountains in winter. Then you have the option, depending on the conditions and your readiness, to decide whether to use the gear or not. Best regards

From Kriška pl. on the marked path shady parts are still icy, mostly dry, from Planina Koren onwards there is little snow but it walks fine.
Given the conditions, I warmly recommend chain crampons and poles, no problems.
