I too pick up trash after others on Pohorje for 30 years. And because of that I don't feel like some "hero", as already mentioned. As a nature and mountain lover you simply feel it. When you see trash you just pick it up. There's no thinking here. And I don't need to post about it. My spoken language is in Pohorje dialect. But I have to admit that when it comes to writing the mother tongue, I'm as respectful and accurate as best I can. Of course not flawless but still grammatical. I don't know what's wrong with that. Even when I write a plain sms to a friend it doesn't occur to me to write in some spakedrujščina. I respect every good work that someone does in nature and mountains. But tell me all you who are not bothered at all by dialect writing, what would it look like if everywhere everyone wrote in their own dialect peculiarities. On forums, news, newspapers and I don't know where else. How would that look. Super cool? Totally crazy? Super cool? Don't you notice that the Slovenian word is slowly disappearing from the street? Really not? Because I notice it. And this is not criticism of Janez's post because I didn't even notice any excessive ungrammaticality in it. He does fantastic work and all praise. This is criticism of all you who "it doesn't bother you at all" and you're all super adaptable and insensitive to little things. Then we can really all write write as you speak and that's really fantastic and the only right way? Because we're coolsters and don't burden ourselves with such things. There's nothing wrong with someone making an effort and writing as it should be written.

I was at Veliki Oltar a while ago. I was looking for that P further from Poldov rov in pitch dark and missed it and unintentionally drove to the main parking lot. Time was 05:20. Parking was packed full. Sure, I haven't been in Vrata for a few years but usually around 7:30 am you could still find a spot. Packed at 5 am is a bit too much. I turn around and find parking a bit further from Poldov rov. There were already two cars there. I change and Slovaks arrive. They ask if it's free here. They say they're going to Triglav. I say yes, but 2 km further there's parking for Triglav and it's 6 euros. They said they'd park here and extend the tour by 2 km. Because of 6 euros. It doesn't bother me, but it bothers me that because of such people we'll have it even around all other mountains near Oltar, Kukova špica etc. What worries me more is for us Styrians if it's already full at five. For me Vrata is one of the closer starting points for Julijci but even to here I need well over two hours. And I already wake up at 2 am. And then what? I drive to parking and it's full. Go back to the bus and say it's full. Should I go home? Plan B? I know there are many other starting points where I often go but I think in the end everything will fill up.. Best regards

If I understand correctly,the road is closed in autumn,winter and spring time. And if it is,where is it written,because I can't find data anywhere.So črlovec and poldov rovt as starting points are out in that time even if say the road is passable?

Peak 1 from which you took the picture is an unnamed peak. Actually, around here I think there are three unnamed peaks. Peak 1 on your first pic continues to the right along the ridge to Činkelman. Actually, Činkelman is right under Vernar on your second pic. Peak 2 is Cesar, left of it nearby is Okel. Peaks 3 and 4 are unnamed. Kurica is not visible on your pic. If you look at peak 1, below it is a saddle from which you descend on a clear path to Kurica. From your first pic left down. Behind peaks 3 and 4 is Konjsko sedlo.
I recommend the tour Vernar-Konjsko sedlo - unnamed peak 4 - descent to horse valley - Cesar - Okel - down scree to Činkelman - Činkelman - along ridge to unnamed peak 1 (if ridge narrows too much a few meters below ridge easy bypass on left side) - descent to saddle - descent to Kurica - back to saddle and direct to unnamed peak 3 (past scrub and right easy passage 5 min to peak) - descent to Konjsko sedlo.

And most importantly democracy (which of course according to you isn't democracy but some totalitarian slave-owning order or whatever) as we know it today is a Western product. Like it or not, you live more like an American than a Russian or Chinese (who by the way stole all that and got away with it scot-free). In plain terms, you shit on what you use and live every day. Don't worry, in some other culture or country maybe you couldn't bash the government as much as you can here. Be aware of the freedom you have cowboys up or down. And to tell the truth, if I had to choose between cowboys and communists, I'd choose cowboys. And don't worry all others would too. Think a bit. There are worse cases too. As for the standard it will fall for everyone. But most for Russians, believe me. And I pity the Russian people, because they are not guilty of anything, no mistake. And it won't be as bad as you think. We've always managed and always will. I mean Europe. Nobody forgets anything. But with all you Russophiles, Russia's history, its war incidents and its genocides are forgotten. Of course it's all because of lack of knowledge of history. Simply put, all opponents of USA (obviously including you constantly repeating what all Americans have done and no one said anything). And I'm not a supporter of neither. But all debates go according to one and the same pattern, what all Americans have done, while Russians have been extremely fair throughout their history and generally fantastic. I don't intend to paste links (or I will if needed), just to realize that American victims are measured in tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands, victims of Russian Bolshevism alone in tens of millions. But of course we'll overlook that, because it's "in" to beat on USA because only USA brewed all the shit that's happening. I don't even mention victims of Chinese communism. The lesson is, yes USA caused huge shit, but unfortunately for you Russians or Chinese did even more shit. But you simply forget or skip that. Obviously you forgot a lot too.
