I have one easy question. Has anyone from the forum hiked from Krn via Vrh nad Peski to the hut under Bogatin? For a normal hiker i.e. small group, approx how much time to reserve. Summer tour. Planning one, interested in that info. Thanks!

22.06. we were on Triglav from Rudno polje via Planika. Visibility was poor, wind strong to stormy. At the moment of approach we were alone on the top, after about 10 minutes four guys from PD "Mosor" Split arrived.
In Planika hut less than 20 slept. Group from Slovenia, Poland, Austria, Germany and a dozen from Croatia. All these are pros and cons of early ascent to Triglav. Everything is arranged at Planika, I contacted the hut keeper lady. Thanks a lot francimedved, see you 22nd and 23rd on Triglav! Report and pics after the trip and return to Varaždin.

Congrats to Igor for the real "Triglav" tour! I see the Vodnik hut is open (from PZS web) but no info on Planika. I tried PD Gorje but no one answers and after a while the fax kicks in. Does anyone have ideas how to contact someone with Planika info?

Wife and I would like for these our (when in Slovenia no work for Corpus Christi and holidays around that date?) holidays, but since huts aren't open, and at Kredarica impossible crowd seems, Cojzova koča and Grintovec [are] left for 22 June. Urross linked your Triglav pics on FB, hope you're not mad?!!!!

Please, does anyone know when Planika hut under Triglav opens and if the phone number maybe changed (PZS says hut closed, but phone number 051/614-773)? If someone knows maybe when Vodnikov hut at Velem polju opens? Thanks in advance!!!
