It's worth adding that Kačji graben is quite icy and rather unpleasant on descent.

Yesterday (18.12.) from Krma to the summit. Conditions still not very December-like. Road to Krma gritted and well maintained. Path in the forest icy, higher up mix of compacted snow and bare ground. Turkish coffee on Kredarica with views. For the summit of course everything obligatory in the backpack, use as desired. Crampons useful in places.

The path over Komarča is dry. From Black Lake onwards, the path is trodden, but there is snow in places almost knee-deep. Snowshoes are not needed, gaiters are useful at a fast pace.

Today my girlfriend and I escaped the fog to Veliko Špičje. Start in front of Savica Lodge. Conditions switch between summer and winter depending on the sun. Summit part soft, winter gear left in backpack.
Long tour.. NO! Short day.
