Yesterday on Easter Sunday there was quite some traffic on Triglav too - another nice day that had to be experienced

In the high mountains there is still a little snow and it's currently a suitable time to conquer peaks that are not often conquered in winter. Today Špik was on the agenda, already at the parking lot it was visible that there would be quite some traffic on the approach. And indeed, a trio had well cut the trail, we reinforced it further. At the top pleasant 12 degrees C and fantastic views, from Krn to Grossglockner and nearby Martuljški vršaci, Škrlatica, Prisank and others.
Given the current conditions I warmly recommend the tour :).
And technical details: parking-Summit-parking: distance 10.2 km, time 5.50 hours, elevations ± 3240m

Nice tour for New Year's Day. Path from Vrata to bivouac IV passable without winter gear. Snow starts at 1700 m a.s.l., but no major issues.
Further to Križ conditions more wintery, as path runs in shade, crampons handy. In the wall itself no snow except at entrance, but frozen. From Peričnik waterfall to summit and back 9.20 hrs, 21.4km, +-4200m.

Today a nice Christmas-New Year tour , completely dry, winter gear was totally unnecessary this time. 11 degrees at the summit and beautiful views, recommended.
