Hello
I'm interested if maybe someone knows where to get some discounts for ordinary mortals for the Interlaken Jungfraujoch train. Since three of us would go, it would cost about 650€ just for the train, blogs write that a discount can be obtained but no one says where and how much, please help. Thanks in advance.

@ulius - if RKC is entitled to return despite "your arguments" and that's a fact, stop selling Poptevjejev nonsense as truth. Why would they give anything to a profit organization RKC? It's there to donate but to those in need and not to hikers who bring profit to entrepreneurs. If voluntary contributions bother you, I hope you're consistent and don't donate to anyone - turn on sarcasm detector.
@Lukito - you'd live easier too if you didn't believe everything in Slo news, and lnaluA-RLC pays taxes just like you and I.

If you read RKC's financial report you'd see how much they donate and exactly where - not like fržava that forgives only some - example 29 mil.

Regarding the accusation that the Church won't act on crescents and stars on peaks, just look a bit into history and you'll see who bought land and built the first huts - I tell you, it wasn't just people but priests. And since I'm a proud believer and RKC member, I tell you - tell when and where we meet to help the burned or otherwise affected people - if they're not a profitable organization, I'll come to help (and not alone).

Julius, why mislead and spread hatred - RKC sold for as much as Celjani were willing to pay, if RKC built the hut and charged you 5€/beer you'd freak out, but if PD Celje does it you'll be all happy
Six pack next door is 5.94€ - on sale even less, not speaking of wholesale price. And now calculate (beer price on Kredarica is 4.5€ - and helicopter has to bring it - so selling to association pays off big so they don't fight for "ownership" over huts for nothing and if PD can "grease mustache" I don't know why RKC should donate land to someone who doesn't do charity (RKC donated land for maternity home)

I'm not really an authority-but I've reached St. James twice now dreaming of a third visit.
Valerija I wish you to experience the Path and not just walk it. Go without expectations and the Path itself will give you more than you can imagine. I met wonderful people and while listening to their "confessions" I realized what the Goriski nightingale wanted to say in the poem Daritev: let the offering be your whole life, At their troubles I forgot my blisters and gladly took on my shoulders-even literally their backpacks. When the Path shows you the beauties of nature and the goodness of people it seemed to me that it would be blasphemy if I didn't offer fellow sufferers a kind word and smile, not to mention a beer and cola (great combination when you're thirsty and tired). When your meditative walking takes you to the heights remember us who dream of repetition or those who are just gathering courage for something that will remain forever in their hearts. Buen Camino and greet St. James also on my behalf.

Ticks live in Slovenia almost everywhere, we are safe from them only in the mountains. They live in forest undergrowth and grass up to 600 meters above sea level, sometimes even higher (up to 1600 m a.s.l.).

@iUnknown - when your PB dies, open it and see which 18650 batteries are inside velik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh you'll be disappointed because they're the same as in xiaomi PB for half the money cooleek Hint, when it's open measure each cell and buy the same "power" (usually 3000-3600mAh) and replace for a couple of €, then PB will serve xx years more.
If you put in mode A you're not reachable M I S T A K E that can cost you dearly.
-if you get lost or something happens they'll find you easier if your mobile is normally on.
-are you sure you'll think in panic to turn off mode A? first you'll think no signal.
-data you can really turn off without harm.

Mcgiver- Quote "During full moon the number of traffic accidents, murders and suicides increases, lunatics, drunks and drug addicts wander the streets, emergency services, firefighters and police receive more calls.#
With gravel road I meant exactly what's written on this same forum in the topic Triglav via Konjšice. Quote: "Rudno polje on Pokljuka (large parking lot, barracks and shooting range). From here continue straight on the gravel road, which a bit further brings us to a junction, where we continue right (left Uskovnica). We then follow this road to the parking lot at the end of the road"

So they won't pull you anymore - full moon what can you dovelik nasmeh - road-track normally passable, space for parking now is no more a problem.

I use viewranger on mobile - if you set it right it shows even the smallest hillocks and has a whole bunch of functions.
On PC http://www.udeuschle.selfhost.pro/panoramas/makepanoramas_en.htm - easy also on mobile if you have a good big one.
And Gaea+ often comes in handy
All three are free.

Removed three eggs and as expected blackbird hen started bringing food to chicks.
Grega just continue if needed - I also picked eggs from grass and set up nest - until hatching.
Very fertile year this year, blackbird 3m from door, first time goldfinches 5m from door, ducks in yard, tits already 4 broods in one nestbox .... .
Photo Sunday - not best but you see the little ones nasmeh
rajko002819. 06. 2018 14:07:13
We have blackbird nest with 5 eggs, Sunday two chicks hatched - blackbird hen doesn't bring food but sits on nest would you intervene - remove other eggs-because chicks not as lively anymore, and doubt others hatch since 3 days passed.

@Zebdi Also when I was still competing in orienteering we had maps and compasses, but many teams got lost, when start was in Črnuče and finish on Rašica one team despite map and compass ended up on Mengeški hrib. As I wrote already-if you want to be 100% you have GPS+map, when I get Garmin 645S (which supposedly works OK even in biggest screes and thickets and accurate to meter) I'll gladly take you on some pathless for demo.
rajko00289. 11. 2017 12:55:18
@ZeK- with a map and compass it's a mission impossible to determine the location at night, in fog and snow - sometimes bivouacking is not possible either and then GPS helps.
GPS on a mobile gives you an accuracy of 15m in a circle.
A dedicated GPS can achieve up to 0.1m (provided it can receive signals also from Russian, Chinese (soon also European) and not only American satellites).
So I think if you have GPS and a map it's enough for everyone - GPS shows the direction which you check on the map in demanding situations. If you make a route at home already, GPS warns you that you went astray and leads you on the planned path (if you have 1500€ or more spare and buy a pro GPS then it tells you the terrain ahead is impassable and you're only 1 cm off the planned point).
rajko00289. 11. 2017 07:02:13
@Bojan A - why do you think handheld GPS is less usable (has better reception, better/longer autonomy, if battery runs out you have spare in backpack, receiver can hang anywhere ...) If you use mobile for navigation batteries drain fast - maybe have power bank which is heavy, reception is there or isn't, most have no voice guidance, if rain or snow must protect it - consequence no reception, can't hear it, higher battery use, hard to navigate with wet fingers on screen, .... . Of course there are pluses too - single device, view of surrounding peaks (2D and 3D), in case of accident easier to find you .... . I'm seriously considering Garmin GPSmap 64S - of course open to all suggestions.
