Mostly shade. Here and there, there are parts in the sun.

From the valley (MB), where the gondola starts to Bellevue (where the gondola stops), most people walk right on the ski slope. This variant is short and all the time in the sun. But next to the ski slope about 10 meters more into the forest there is also a footpath or several variants, which is practically always in the shade.

If you go on the transversal from Poštele or from Betnava castle, you are all the time in the shade.

From Bellevue to Areh there is a wide 6 km long drivable (off-road cars, bikes, quads) path, which is mostly in the shade, some parts are in the sun (especially the last kilometer before Areh). You can also go somewhere in the forest parallel to the main wide path.

Ugh, I see I wrote my question poorly. So to correct a bit. I've been to Triglav already 3x (from Pokljuka, from Krma and via Triglav Lakes). But true, quite some years have passed since then. This time I'd like something more demanding, so I'm thinking Tominšek or over Prag (if I find some alpinist for company maybe even north face). Wedges and ledges don't scare me, I have some climbing experience too (mainly on artificial walls, a bit outside). As I wrote, fitness objectively no problem.

I'm from Maribor and have been heading to Triglav for some time now. Haven't set the date yet Would go some short variant from the north side - one-day. What would you suggest for someone with little experience in hills, fitness no problem. LP Lidija
