It's possible that with time the shoe will actually adapt to the foot and won't rub anymore. Until then you can help yourself with various gel inserts (there are also such for over the heel) or blister plasters. Those always came off me after 2km walking so on every spot where I feel a blister will form or already is, I put a piece of cotton and tape it with duct tape. So far this has shown as the only really reliable defense against blisters. Good luck

Today on Grmada windy and a bit icy, as there were a few cm of snow that fell from about 450m onwards, trampled by the feet of numerous hikers. Again, despite obvious winter conditions from the valley, the summit was full of people in Adidas slippers, who were slipping and falling on paths below the summit.

I strongly doubt that it can be done by hand.. damn it because printing bureaucratic nonsense of this country takes time in which we could do something else.

how much grip uphill do such skis with notches below? is it better only on flat, or also somewhere steeper

hi. Wondering if any touring skier here has encountered or knows this concept. It's a hybrid between snowshoe and ski with integrated skin; I think such skis would be very suitable for various wanderings type Pohorje, Pokljuka, or hills of hermetically closed Ljubljana municipality..

Hi, so that the topic doesn't stay sadly alone, I can recommend from the top of my head e.g. macadam from Toško čelo above Ljubljana toward Katarina, where no roots and such and has decent length. Can extend on fairly cleared path to Gont, but in this direction already more obstacles on path. Seems to me Krim and similar Dinaric hills ala Hrušica suitable for your activity, with huge forest roads network like Pohorje, maybe some Jelovica. Nice Nordic step wish

Today on Storžič from Kališče, conditions super except wind that almost blew me off the ridge. Met no one. Nice to have crampons and ice axe, if nothing else for the sense of security.. Path is quite icy!
