Saturday 13.7 - the “unnamed” ferrata still not open.

Unfortunately we tested it the hard way. After ascent on ferrata Hvadnik, on descent to valley a cable appears. We followed it. But at the end surprise, as we hit the unfinished end of the ferrata, which in last 10m prevents safe descent. Had to return back along the ferrata to the start.

The ferrata makers could equip both ends with warning signs about unfinished project.

Today also to Stanič. The gully is noticeably less watery, ice axe in hand on ascent, for descent put on crampons too.

Today's gorgeous trip. Really!

Gully still heavily snow-covered, but snow quality worsening, won't be nice much longer. Saw footprints of someone without crampons. Brave! 1 crossing still particularly dangerous. Had hiking crampons which did a great job, but no ice axe. Went fine but more comfortable with it. Summit part classic, warmed up, quality rock! One of the nicer trips.

Yesterday 24.2.2019 visited Kamniški Dedec. Wonderful views comparable to Kompotelo! My favorite panoramic spot.

Right after crossing the torrent, crampons recommended. I myself kept them on all the way to the hut, but from there onwards without them it wouldn't be possible. Snow super quality otherwise! Hard crust that holds. Last jump to the top luckily without snow.

Today's ascent to Lučki Dedec went without major issues. Snow starts about 100m below Presedlaj.
From the saddle I went straight up the slope by azimuth. With sufficient amount it wouldn't be a problem, but there's little and I pushed off junipers in some places.
The entire plateau to Lučki Dedec no problem, plenty of snow.
At summit east wind up to 5m/s, offering a glide to the valley.

Does anyone know the name of that plateau on the way to Lučki Dedec?

Last 50m ascent from Gojzda to Kriška gora I treat as one of the most annoying paths in all KSA. In summer even more If [doing the] descent on foot, I would want crampons. So. If I even have the right to complain.

Here, for the curious, today's start. Forget the twisted command :d haha.

Same mountain, different path. This time I leave the car in Gornji Grad and head straight towards Lenart. Super path along the stream, no traffic, consequently no hitchhiking possibilities Every now and then isolated farms and their guard dogs. They wanted to give me one puppy. No problem with snow - winter gear unnecessary. At the top mixed feelings. Low base moving from the north, but at the top no wind, everything quiet... strange. Well, I take off, land and pensioner-style on the bench in front of the cathedral I attack the sandwich.

From Calcit via Primož and past Pasje pečine up to Velika Planina. Path is trodden, not much new snow. Also across Mala planina to Jarška koča no problem with excessive snow.

today 28.2.2017 my colleague and I visited Kamnik Saddle! I recommend the whole path only to the physically fit. To the shepherds' huts the path is even the hardest. Despite snowshoes many sections give under body weight. Colleague with skis managed much easier!
Just before the shepherds' huts we turned out of the forest and continued along Brana. In the middle of KS an avalanche occurred which we used for zigzagging past lone trees for greater safety. Last 100m crusty.

Path relatively safe, physically very demanding but worthwhile.
