Adolf and Janez, many thanks With so much info I'll surely find my way Jerebičje definitely goes on my list of this year's goals and I'll likely visit it among first peaks this season. From all hikers' comments I gather these uncrowded, peaceful untouched corners of our Alps are really worth a visit. Searching path to the summit makes reaching it even more rewarding.

Hello, I've never hiked this end of our country and it tempts me to visit someday. What's the path to Jerebičje like, easy or do you need to scramble here and there? Can the tour be taken as a standalone trip? Is it best to ascend from Matkovo Kot and does the road leading to the mentioned saddle allow car driving?
I assume these areas are worth visiting mainly for solitude and peace Please any info, as this end is still unknown to me
