During our holiday in Bovec we walked along Možnica all the way to the holiday home, and at the same time we checked out the spring and pools of Nemčlje. I probably don't need to write that there's no mass visitation here. We didn't meet anyone, so we enjoyed the beneficial peace and listening to the babbling Nemčlje. The pools are just as impressive as those carved out by Mostnica. Definitely worth a visit

Yesterday I set off with both my fluffies past Krems to the 1142 m high Škrbina, located in the ridge of Slaparjeva gora above Kokra valley. The path is not marked, no cairns either, we ascended along the clearings, at the end a path goes along the ridge. Too bad about the views, as the main peaks of KSA were in clouds.
From the top we continued up and down along the ridge towards Javorjev vrh, but only to the "marked" junction which takes you back to the start via clearings and macadam. Peace, quiet and solitude are guaranteed in these parts. If I didn't have the fluffies, I'd have been a bit scared

Is that the Vrat Valley below? If so, it could be Stena or some part of it.

@seinfeld, if you have dogs properly trained and they have 100% recall, you don't need a leash, or rather you of course always have it at hand, but more because of other dogs and people I don't understand why you always butt into the same things, when you achieve nothing with it. Surely now Zapp will have the dogs always on a leash because of you and I likewise Maybe just for your information, and I hope this falls on fertile ground, if the owner has dogs unleashed in a natural environment, they are probably very well trained and taught. Because if not, believe me, you wouldn't dare to let them off, because the consequences can be very financially burdensome

No issues with dogs on this ridge, I went with both of mine, and my friend with hers, and they roamed freely all over the ridge. The biggest danger is snakes - not sure exactly if vipers or grass snakes, which are active early in spring if it's sunny. You have to watch a bit so the dog doesn't stick its snout somewhere and get bitten. The path itself is BP. I always returned via Titovo vas, it's interesting to check out, recommend
