Last Saturday from Gozd to Tolsti vrh, conditions quite solid, wind was blowing nicely and blowing some snow a bit, but nothing worse. Path trodden, passable, mandatory crampons.

Further along the ridge to Kriška. Path not trodden, lots of wind-blown loose snow and in some sections quite dangerous for slipping.

Wonderful excursion and idyllic landscape. Start in front of Savica. The path steadily climbs gently and is nicely normally passable. I recommend crampons, as the step is safer. In the hut extremely friendly keepers and excellent food.

From Okrog at Motnik to Menina Planina past Biba planina. To Biba path mostly snow-free, good 100m to shelter snow trodden and nicely passable. From Biba to Menina quite some snow, fairly trodden, in shady spots bit icy. Walking bit strenuous esp due to soft snow (warm weather) but no problem passable. Crampons desirable but not essential. Great New Year's trip!

Today start at 9:00 at parking lot V Koncu (upper parking was already taken but parked at lower one no problem). Path through forest nicely passable, marked, steep. Then we reached rocky slope where according to marks we should cross snow slide but it was a bit dangerous so stuck to right side more which wasn't so passable due to scree. Even harder on descent. Otherwise super hike.

Was there two days ago. Start from Podljubelj (Lajb). Most of the path is on a maintained gravel bike road (I expected more through the forest). Twice it turns very steeply into the forest, otherwise marked but quite poorly passable. Pleasant hut owner and of course excellent štruklji! I'll come again, next time on another path.

From Gozd along the steep path. First time differently to Kriška gora. Honestly - didn't expect such steepness - from the start all the way to the top. Gotta grit your teeth, no flat sections - but super path to sweat and extra training.

Weather ideal, phenomenal experience, full gas all the time. Snow really only a bit in the last forest section in some shades, rest all dry. At top almost no wind and crazy warm.
