Yesterday, 7.9. my colleague and I set off for sunrise on Špik. Started at Ruski križ at 1:30 past the hut in Krnica via Lipnica to Špik summit, caught sunrise at 6:30.
From Lipnica summit about 15 min descent to junction for Kačji graben path and from there to top scrambling starts without any protections, steep terrain with lots of scree and crumbly. With proper caution and steps to summit (& back) no problem. Sunrise on top pure 10, breathtaking views. Descended via Kačji graben, start very pleasant with huge scree saving time and energy When path enters forest slog begins, lots of mud, slippery rocks, lots of blowdowns Reminded me of Kot valley

Dear folks, on social networks everyone writes as if there's some major closure. Was there on Wednesday, DETOUR for Ljubelj or Kompas shop is totally normal, through Tržič center, then left towards Podljubelj, and after a few minutes driving on the side road you join the main road to Ljubelj.

Hi guys, turbo and _ratS! Nice to see someone also talking about this "Müller's chimney" route, which I've been planning to climb for a few months.
By the way, turbo, how iced up was the route at your ascent? The hardest part looks like that first jump at the bottom to me, and I think if not enough iced, it can be tricky?
