Is the path to Kojca from Zakojca trodden?

Katty, nice that you went to our hills and enjoyed, but some facts: the path along the edge is on the Slovenian Mountain Trail route, which here runs from Golaki to Col (we can also hike it in the opposite direction). About fifteen minutes further from Otliško okno a signpost directs left towards Sinji vrh. We call it at the pole (elec. pole), but we have to
return from Sinji vrh along the same path back to the edge. You started the path from Col, so you should continue at Podrta gora and follow the markers, which are quite frequent up to the pole and turn right to Sinji vrh, but you turned left (why??). The owner of the bulls and cows is upset because hikers scare the livestock to shorten the path. There's little possibility to mark this part. Go to Golaki too, it's also very nice.

Has anyone been to Krn from Krnska jezera these days, are there still snow fields?
marjana9. 06. 2014 15:17:43
Yesterday we were on Dobratsch through the gully. There's still quite a bit of snow, it starts at about 1500 m. The path in the lower part isn't visible under the snow, you go right through the middle of the snowfield. Higher up, by the slightly larger rock, there's a marker and visible path. The snow was somewhat softened so crossing was fine, without crampons and ice axe, but a great deal of caution is needed. Higher up there are still some passable small snow patches. It was very warm and the snow is melting. We returned via paths 291 and 290 - to Trate and past three closed huts to the starting point in Plajberk.

Does anyone know the conditions on Dobratsch from Plajberk, if there's still any snow and how passable the path is.

I was on Matajur. Crampons don't hurt for the descent.

Thanks for the info.

Are crampons needed if going from Avsa? Is the road to Avsa dry?
