If I understand correctly, the official path described and photo documented here on hribi.net (Okrešelj - Storžek), in the last climbing part is no longer properly secured - so safety gear no longer serves its purpose......and another (freely after Prešeren) path must be taken?

You described it very nicely, realistically, so I'll really wait a bit with that (there's still plenty else to climb). I was on Gamsovec last year (though in the opposite direction from your suggestion). Thanks for the help.
