Was up there last weekend, the snow was really wet, there's still plenty of snow on the path.

Today went to both Kočnas, at least to me the path wasn't anything special but you have to watch your step because there's really a lot of scree. All together from Ravenska Kočna and back took 7h.

Hi, I would go to Koroška Rinka via Slovenian with a friend on Tuesday if the weather is nice of course, and I'm interested if anyone was up there recently, what's the path like

Rudijeva vertikala is passable although in some places to the vertical the chains are loose. On the vertical itself a chain is missing but it can be climbed to the next. Lots of scree on the path and constant caution needed. Not for dizzy people and inexperienced.

Today went to Velika Baba from Ravenska kocna, went along Slovenian path to the hut and there decided to go via climbing path (Rudi's Vertical), path is passable and protections are fine, only on the vertical itself in the middle one cable missing but can climb safely to the next. Descended via saddle and then stopped at Ledinski vrh.

I also looked at climbing-Slovenian, but it's probably safer if you go first via the saddle, right.

I plan to go for the first time Ravenska Kočna - Velika Baba, via Slovenian path and Jezersko saddle and I'm wondering how much SVK will be needed

@tomco OK, I had planned to go to Storžič via Psica and Žrelo this week, but I'll go to the suggested ones too. Yeah, I followed it, I even went to check and specifically it would be possible to get up but I wouldn't risk the scree. When I go, is it better to go past the cable car or via Umik Žrela?

@tomco, so far I've hiked more on "easier" 2000m (Vrtača, Stol, Storžič, Grintovec,...). I have no fear of heights and good fitness; recently I bought SVK. But I read that the most dangerous parts aren't the cable ones but the crumbly ones, although I hike carefully I'd rather not risk a fall.

how is it with the via ferrata set or is it needed for any kočna

@asdf, @jax thanks for the suggestions. With classmate we'll go also on a tour to the Julians first to Stenar then sleep in Pogačnikov dom and next day via Prehodavci to Bohinj

Oh sorry for the confusion, I'm interested because the parents want opinions from hikers.
