Hello,

for the summer I planned a week-long hike in the Julians without demanding peaks-as simple paths as possible.

The idea was this: Planica-Slemenova špica (or via Jalovec and Mojstrovka)-Vršič-Kanjavec-Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih-Dvojno jezero-Komna-Krn-Komna-Črna prst-Škofja Loka. Maybe to Kredarica in between.

One big ruzak on the shoulder with supplies, overnight in huts.

I'm interested if anyone has recommendations for the route I should take or some suggestion regarding huts for overnight stays and equipment.

Thanks for answers and opinions.

Hi,

I'm planning to take a colleague to the mountains and we were thinking about Grintovec, because neither of us has been there yet and it's the only one in the Kamnik Alps that has an easy marked path. She is physically fit, but has a bit of trouble if there's some extreme height, e.g. path on the edge of a sheer wall and similar "extremes".

I'm just wondering if Grintovec would be suitable, since in the pictures (the last part of the path below the summit) it maybe looks different than in reality.
I'm also wondering about Krn (from planina Kuhinja)-one part looks quite sheer and there are no cables.

Similarly with the pictures for Mala Mojstrovka; the path towards the summit looks very steep, as if you'll slide down to Trenta if you fall, but it's not like that when you're there.

Thanks and lp

Hello,

this week I planned a short hike to Kamniško sedlo but I'm skeptical about the weather forecast, which on both ARSO and Google shows partial cloudiness for Tuesday and Thursday, the other days will be rainy.

Is it sensible to plan the hike for another day, because this partial cloudiness in the mountains probably quickly turns to rain, right?
Maybe some suggestion where it's best to follow the weather forecast for the mountains?

Lp
