I spotted this device Bushnell Back Track. It looks OK, small, durable, price quite normal, and since you wrote about Garmin 405, I really don't need it with 8 hours of operation. I'm interested: does anyone have this Bushnell and how does it behave in the mountains?

today I bought 6-point crampons from Camp manufacturer and it's a bit weird when you mount them with the strap i.e. from the toe to the heel it feels so unstable do you have any experience how to secure it better

Where do you suggest going from now in the snow so that it's not too risky, because I'm going for the first time and when I looked at it today it's quite snowy and the top is in fog

I'll go tomorrow to Blegoš on what I think nicer path from Poljan turn to Javoreje in Javorje straight to village Gornja Zetina where you park at Andrejon farm and then along road where at barrier go ridge up or path to hut then top

if you mean a windbreaker like we used to have - painted plastic, then it's logical you'll sweat full
As those before me said, it's normal and even healthy to sweat. If you don't want to, dress less and have a slower pace.

I meant a windproof jacket from McKinley which has removable fleece underneath, orange color; even the fleece itself if you wear it gets all white from sweat, the jacket like weight loss clothes completely wet

many answers but I still didn't get the point what to wear so you're not all wet when you sweat in windbreaker or windstoppers that it's all dewy and wet from inside interests me what you have and how you avoid such phenomenon

In the morning I cleared the path through Miklavzeva grapa towards the top. 40 cm snow cover, but today very much snow is falling from trees. On top wonderful sunshine and tea in the hut which is open all weekends

Is there already something trodden up there and what's the road like to žetina ?

In Poljanska Valley nicely snowing and already 36 cm, really curious how much Blegos has

Well, I have trouble, I know not much money a bit music but first I bought McKinley windbreaker, I sweated underneath like it was for sweating but when I bought Windstopper from North Face and fleece shirt underneath pulli but still wet inside sleeves and back. When I bought stretch hiking pants from McKinley windproof rain resistant super great but after two days hiking in hills they chafed a lot in crotch worn out so I took back and now I'll get Karibu Sheeler see how it goes. Well that's why I opened this thread cuz I'm interested how you solve these problems and what's worth your money

Today nice snow on Ermanovec and it's a super hiking path to Ermanovec and to Slajko and further to the valley but via the path from Sovodenj through Miklavževa grapa where there are beautiful small waterfalls and ice candles in winter super for soul and body
