Yesterday I set out on the path through Kotliški Graben to Brana and descent along the ridge over Kaptanska glava. No orientation problems thanks to the detailed description. That I was on the right path was unfortunately shown by predecessors' remains, two beer cans and two plastic bottles in slings near the bolts. I picked them up and took them to the valley. The only place where I slightly missed and went too high was at the slabs, where bolts are below. I crossed the slabs about 5 meters above the bolts; in the wet, of course, it wouldn't go. Since I hadn't found the bolts yet, I decided not to go further until I find them. Well, I found them quickly. Path to Brana without peculiarities, descent along the eastern ridge is quite "doggy". We climbed for about 5 hours, there were a couple of orientation loops.

You can get to Jermanca by car without issues. I recommend that anyone deciding to drive up leaves the car somewhere in the clearing by the observation post. There's already plenty of stones on the road up to there, even rocks rolling onto the road with the current thaw. Also when starting to walk from Jermanca onwards, caution won't hurt. Ears alert, because stones occasionally roll down from above through the forest.

Yesterday Celjska route in Mali Rinki, today Wisiakova in Planjava. Pic shows just line of lower part Celjska route. Was really extreme cold, mainly due strong wind.

Today my friend and I soloed Domžalsko, original variant. First jump and traverse into gully psyched us out pretty good, practically no snow. Descent via Bosova, all jumps exposed there too and need to downclimb a bit.

I'm going to check it tomorrow.

Jure S I didn't notice Bojan "whining" on the forum. I'm also in alpinist circles and agree with gregcs1 and totalcka. I know quite a few alpinists who have passed all required exams for the title but climb practically nothing. And on the other side I know many trainees, candidates and even people who are none of that but have all necessary knowledge for climbing and climb a lot. Not everything is in titles.

Nice day calls to the mountains. I drive to the parking lot at the Memorial Park. Goal is Mokrica from Kurja dolina and then descent on the other side past Medvedja jama. I won't write much. The tour requires quite some sense of orientation, because there are several sections where no trail of predecessors helps you. To the wall of Kompotele I went directly up the gully Veliki Krvavec under Udiranje, but approach is also possible along the scree ridge right of the gully. That is also safer, because something often falls down the gully. Well, in my case it didn't. The ascent on steep and crumbly ledges requires the most caution, which starts somewhere below Velbo (natural window in the wall between Mokrica and Kompotele). Here difficulties reach about grade II. Helmet is mandatory equipment! The view from Mokrica was divine yesterday. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

Yesterday somewhere on the path from home in Kamniška Bistrica towards the memorial park a Nikon Coolpix camera, light green color, was lost. If someone finds it, please let me know at 040 852 309. Thanks.

On Saturday I headed to Lučki Dedec. Circular tour. Along the marked path to Presedljaj and further to the branch for Lučki Dedec. Up to here I felt like walking through the Amazon rainforest, it was so humid and wet, especially with a lot of bushwhacking. Otherwise it was quite pleasant. Every now and then mists came in, otherwise the sun was shining. From Lučki Dedec I continued towards Vršiči and found a suitable passage for descent towards Šraj pesek and further to Skok. Since it would be optimistic to expect Skok to be dry after a not very good weather week, I had a rope with me of course. Well, it really wasn't dry. Very Happy then descent to Orglic and return to start. A nice mountaineering Saturday outing.

P.S. A bit above Skok I noticed "marks" similar to those in Žagani peči about which there was quite some talk. Maybe someone knows where they lead? I followed them across the gully into the forest, where they disappeared. Up to there a path was visible.

On Saturday we went with a colleague from Vršič towards Mala Mojstrovka over Šitna glava, down via Hanzova, then climbed Severni raz, went to the top of Mala Mojstrovka and down the south side. We were surprised when going down Hanzova how many people were without helmets. Even some father with about 12 year old son, I think they were also without via ferrata set. I'd estimate about a third of people we met were without helmet. One of them even got a stone to the head, luckily no consequences. Never on secured climbing paths without helmet!
