Although I haven't been posting our trips for a long time, only occasionally, this time I think it's nice to inform others about another beauty of our little country.
We often drove past the traffic sign Šturmov potok. Interesting, I often said to myself.
Yesterday the idea came, let's go to Holy Spirit on Sharp Peak. Yes. Where to start, in Selnica? Conversation this morning. Well, no, long way. It was 10:00 when we left home.
We'll leave the car at Šturm. I checked the hribi.net description of this path, partially demanding, wet…
Yes, well, let's go.
Start from the car at 11:00. Yes, early hour, golden hour.

Some time on asphalt, then macadam, easy walking, but once the marked path leads to a bit more demanding walking.
The path turns into a gorge, which occasionally rises quite steeply. After the rain, which there was quite a lot of in recent days, this path becomes quite demanding. It rained until morning in this area. You had to be careful with every step, as water flowed on the path itself, not just in the stream where it roared loudly. Despite all this, you forget the effort, as the step had to be reliable, often the shoe slipped on the wet moss-covered rock.
Thinking that I'd have to return on this path, I was already terrified. If necessary, then necessary. Carefully. Considering that if there's an injury, no signal, it's dark, no emergency call, it didn't work out for us.
Despite all this, it was great, the entire path to the exit from the gorge is accompanied by the roar of water, beautiful waterfalls, pools, green blanket of trees… I had to soak it all up, what nature gives.
At the top, exploring two churches, some drinks in the guesthouse, where there were quite a few Austrian guests. Prices - cheap.
We knew, since we checked the Kozjak map well at home, that there's also a hunting path. We chose that for descent to avoid the ravine. A local woman advised us that we can shorten this hunting path a bit if we turn straight at the stone walls, not right. We did that. Yes, obviously she didn't know that loggers had been working here, as we had a section of the path in fallen trees, where we crawled over or under or around.
In summary, it was worth it. Met no one on the entire path. At the end satisfied, full of beautiful pictures in the head and phone.
True, this experience must be during heavy rain so the stream fills up.
Let the photos tell their story.
