Hello! I'll write for running enthusiasts and those who would like or already like to walk in nature. (Also suitable for family). Yeah, that's how it looks. On Saturday 31.5.2008 we mountain runners have nationals in the discipline called up-down. I want to say that they also organize hikes along forest paths near the castle. It would be nice if you joined this hike and cheered on the best Slovenian runners during the walk. I know this path is quite long depending on where you come from. Weather will be sunny and perfect as every year. So you won't regret seeing and walking this beautiful corner of Slovenia. For more info read on www.obcina-grad.si or on www.goričko.net-lahko also check our AZS page for mountain runs on the website www.gorski-teki.mau. I'm late with the post but hope to see you on Saturday in as large numbers as possible. Have a nice time and best from mountain runner nasmehjezik

As far as I know, there is none. From the hut to the top, you might see some snow patch. On top, there sure will be. Here in the hills up to 2000 m there is no big winter, from 2000 m upwards there are winter conditions, so no panic. Still recommend warm clothes and lots of fluids. LP mountain runnervelik nasmeh

I know they go up that steep hill to Kališče and even to the top, there's even a race in winter (winter league). Others already told me you can train there so I'm asking here if it's true. We'll try this year and see right away how it is.velik nasmeh

Man, those 4 hours don't smell too good to me. And it's true that you start at Rudno polje. That's at 1200 m and half way to the top. But now I'm interested how long that route is? Because me and my dad (we run together) spent less than 2 hours to Grintovec from Kamniška Bistrica. With that we went easy. You know if you know those areas then you know how it looks like for how much it takes. And thanks for the answer viharniknasmehnasmeh

As I heard, it takes for Triglav from 5.5 hours to 8 hours walk depending on where you go from. Now I'm interested from which end the medium difficult route is. Some say like from cargo cableway to Grintovec. Cuz I wanna conquer it this year. LP mountain runnernasmeh

I'd like to ask something. I'm a mountain runner and wonder if Storžič has a nice path for running. Is it worth running up for training?nasmeh

I'm a young adventurer, interested in where the bivouac around Grintovec is located. I'm asking this because I need to train at altitude (for high-altitude preparations); by the way, I'm a mountain runner and know what conditions await me up there. We runners (MOUNTAIN) don't know boundaries anyway. But please, if someone tells me not only for this bivouac but also for some other in the Grintovec area. And if possible, let the bivouac be above 2000 meters. LP mountain runnernasmeh
