This week we did some low bouldering in the above-mentioned valley and tasted the climbing pleasure of granite. When our arms stretched to our knees, in the evening we went to relax a bit on the nearby via ferratas. In the valley itself there are at least 5, attractively routed, nicely marked and even better equipped. Difficulties go up to D/E, but even the "B's" can be very steep. Anyway they are well secured and there are plenty of footholds too. No crowds on the via ferratas themselves, but they were still quite visited. And apparently visits spread over the whole day.

Last week we headed out to the hills a bit with my 14-year-old daughter. We pack sleeping bags, stove, bivy bag, some technical gear, some food and lots of water into the backpack, and start in Planica with the first stage of PP. Then we continue with the second and then the third... all the way to the eighth, which ends for us this afternoon on Pokljuka.

We carried pretty much everything we needed with us, picked up a few small things (mainly Cedevita) along the way in KG and Vratih, slept under the open sky, cooked for ourselves and of course got lost and found our way back ourselves, said a bad word or two because of the scree and rubble incidents and immensely enjoyed even something like a footprint in the sand.

The tour of course isn't comparable to any marked and groomed path and even though it doesn't rank among alpinistic ascents, it's highly recommended to have some of that knowledge with you. Definitely it's a tour that gives you more than you expect from it.

On Wednesday, 15.2.23 gloves were found on Jezersko, a little above the lower cable car station.

Similar notice has just been officially received by heads of alpinist sections/clubs. With instruction to forward it to members. If you're a member of some, you'll probably receive it too. So official part covered. And as Betka wrote ...

Some PDs organize various courses mainly for their members. Couldn't take large groups anyway. Sodick, ask first at your own PD, or join larger ones.

Interesting, Vršič packed with cars, huge crowd, but all head only to Mojstrovke. So we had this peak to ourselves
