Many thanks!
We'll put the crampons in the backpack just in case nasmeh. What about the hut? I assume it's open

This weekend I'd head to Snežnik, curious what the conditions are? How much snow already, how passable the path if anyone knows.
thanks zavijanje z očmi

jezik well, the name would really be more apt with š-j than with s-j

yeah that's the logic - now even us Slovenians don't really feel like going there - so much better?
road maintenance 10€ per day no - half at least they pocket nicely.

more or less agree with dore. A bit less harshly though, because I have nothing against it, but don't quite understand you, read about merrymakers who went "by bike" to Triglav and have to say the point isn't very obvious to me, but okay, to each his own I guess.

uhmm, given the terrain and pics were you at all on bikes on Raduha itself or just carried them as props? (like on attached pics??)

Come on, some of you are annoying with this. Those who go to break records obviously enjoy it too, let them have their way just like they let you have yours! When someone mocks you for going slowly, then it will be time for such remarks. Let's be a bit more adult.
Judging by the pictures, you obviously didn't run headlong through the mountains. Nice tour nasmeh

I certainly don't agree with him on many things and I'm one of those who think we need some younger leadership with more reasonable fresh ideas. But I think the stances were quite clearly expressed
to summarize them as I understand them:
Relocation of Aljaž Tower seems necessary to him to protect the tower.(this time not blaming wear and tear but rather that people can do whatever they want with it up there, so they add to it and change it at will... where I agree with him but the reason doesn't seem sufficient to me)
Regarding the past debate on mountaineering and alpinism he is obviously convinced that with the word mountaineer we offend our alpine organization (which seems unreasonable to me..what else)
Fine, only on the policy issue he didn't take a stand, which is probably right-politics shouldn't have anything to do here smile

In short I still don't agree, but he handled the interview quite successfully, will probably convince many(surely not the fierce opponents here up, but many for whom this whole thing doesn't seem so important already)

don't get so upset and don't be rude. triglavski wrote to you quite impatiently but justifiably that look before asking everywhere>> it's really a problem these days when people don't feel like even clicking a few times others have to do everything for them and considering that your predecessor kindly sent you a link despite your laziness you could at least thank instead of just whining!
and best regards

I fully agree with the predecessor. It is more than obvious that you are one of the more influential/known (at least in these circles) representatives of all of us who think that the tower removal is a crime against our common state and a great shame for climbers and other citizens. So don't surrender without a fight! Who will dare claim then that no one was againstjezen?!

You have the support of the public. As for elections, I am pretty sure that the current senile and outright arrogantly ignorant leadership represents no competition.

With respect!

Rok

It wouldn't be anything wrong if the Slovenian flag was permanently hoisted at Triglav's summit rolling eyes. Praiseworthy, definitely.
TGO24. 06. 2009 22:32:08
eek... yeah, it really looks so sadly out from the rock
TGO23. 06. 2009 21:55:16
I agree it's a bad decision but where's the logic that there would be fewer accidents if such things were charged heavily? Quite the opposite, there would be even more because people would stubbornly push on hoping they won't have to pay that much money.
