I found something on HPS pages. Croatian peaks - Istria. Which of these peaks do you recommend, or is it possible to visit all in one day.

The path isn't too exposed, it's suitable for vertigo-prone too in my opinion. Of course, caution is never superfluous.

Daaam, I completely agree with your opinion. We go to mountains also for socializing. And one more thought, a bit for fun:
When you're drunk everyone sees you, when you're thirsty nobody does.

Julius, were you maybe on Kili in December 2010? The pictures look familiar, especially the third (Bushmen) and fifth (little goat for dinner). Otherwise, I agree with Keber. The more time you take for acclimatization, the more chances you have to conquer the summit.

My big wish for 2012 is to visit Nepal and do a trek under Mt. Everest. I know last year Lifetreking agency had it planned, for this year don't know. Interested if anyone knows other agencies organizing Nepal treks.
Searched the internet, no concrete finds. Found some but not under Everest, doesn't suit me.
Any info please.

When I look at the pictures, I really regret not being with you on Kredarica. Maybe I would've made it to the summit for the first time in winter conditions. Edi2, nice pictures and congrats on the summit.

Joste, great pics. As far as I know, the path to Mišelj Peak is not marked. I have some questions. Which part of Mišeljska dolina did you start from, is the path visible, are there cairns on the path, what's the difficulty etc. etc...

Rozka, maybe you know which path to Pihavec is easier: that over Luknja, or from Pogačnikov dom on Kriški podi.

We left the car a bit above the town, if I'm not mistaken before a shop. To Vošac (1,425 m), or to the mountain hut on the summit, took us cca. 4 hours. I recommend going as early as possible from bed to avoid the sun. Views from the top are fantastic.
