This summer too I went to Triglav Lakes Hut. Car left at planina Blato of course. Road toll still 12 euros. Early morning parked right at the top. Returning, cars up to Vogar turnoff. This time to hut via Štapci, back via Prode. Looks like it rained yesterday, path slippery. Way back already dry.
Start of the path at Blatu.1
Hut on Planina Pri jezeru.2

New feature soon above the pasture.5
On Planina Ovčarija then right to Štapce.6
I spot Mala Tičarica.7

Štapce even has some steel cables.9

Some pics from two trips to Triglav Lakes hut (27. and 29.4.). Road to planina Blato open from Thursday for all visitors, normal drivable.
Still plenty snow, starts ~30min above parking.
On foot no big deal, snowshoes or skis, esp after 10 when it sinks nicely velik nasmeh

Nice hike via Štapce and back via Prode. Descent from Štapce a bit annoying due to scree, otherwise nice path, full of people.

Didn't want to play cop, but saw a lady bathing in the lake. When told it's forbidden, she said she didn't apply sunscreen anyway and to send her the bill. nasmeh

I too recently warned bathers by the lake near the hut that it's not allowed but they stared blankly and insisted they weren't bathing. Indeed they weren't until I turned towards Štapce.

Hi,

Wondering if now that the hut is closed, that water tap next to the hut is still working and water can be gotten there? Or did they close the valve and drain pipes for winter?

Those of you who have been there recently (say from summer onwards), has anyone peeked into the winter room, what's the condition? Because I know it was very miserable before, but I heard they supposedly renovated it.

Anyway, the plan is to sleep here on the Triglav High Trail nasmeh
