To me it doesn't seem smart. I myself haven't been to Triglav yet, and I'm an athlete, well fitness prepared, but until last year completely unaccustomed to mountains and height.
Then I started slowly, bought maps, went for 3 days across Pohorje. Learned what to take with me, how to plan a tour. This spring continued on smaller hikes (Nanos, etc.), then continued in Kamnik Alps (Grintovec, Kamnik Saddle, etc.), and finally I went to Julian Alps near Kriških Podov).
I'm not in a hurry anywhere, better go slowly and get used to height, pegs and mountains. AND along with that I super enjoy and that's the most important.
I advise you to do the same, Triglav can wait.
