Last Thursday it wasn't yet; we left the car at the small parking lot where the snow started on the road. In the afternoon some drove a bit higher, but not to the hut. Walking from the car to the hut approx. 20 min.

On Sunday we went up the Central Gully on Begunjščica. In the first part of the approach the snow was crusty frozen (previous day it rained or wet snow fell), on the steep upper part it was quite soft- upwards we wallowed, downwards it sank nicely. Conditions aren't quite right yet, but walkable and views from the top outweighed everything. Recommend early ascent. Others had similar conditions on Vrtača.

Kilimanjaro 2011: all together 3700 Eur; acclimatization Mount Kenya 5 days, Kilimanjaro 6 days, safari 3 days with all transfers, food, vaccinations, antimalarials, visas.... They really say that it's more expensive every year. And regarding returning to these places, to Mount Kenya I would go again - for the soul!

Today I did a nice circular route Klemenča jama-Strelovec-Logarska peč-Icmankova planina and back to Logarska dolina. The nice trip was a bit spoiled by the loss of sports glasses with removable lenses. I searched for them unsuccessfully alone (walked the Strelovec-Logarska peč path twice). If someone has more luck than me and finds them, please leave them with the caretaker of Dom planincev in Logarska dolina. For a reward, of course!

In Slovenske Gorice (Cerkvenjak) they call them ČESNIKOVCE.

Bbrina, thanks for reply. Was at Nebeška gora and Kum last Sunday. When I descended to Čimerna, first went along road past Kovaček farm towards Kum, then followed footpath markings.

Was on Porezen yesterday. Start from Davča at Jurež farm. Hour and half easy walk to the top, some snow patches only around the hut, path dry and clear. And since that wasn't enough I headed to Blegoš too . On the way home secretly checked the clock and Lubnik... That one some other time.
