a few days ago I completed SPP and submitted it to PZS for confirmation. In the booklet Diary of the Slovenian Mountain Trail, where I stamped the reached peaks and checkpoints, I also read the rules for awarding the honorary badge for the completed trail. This specifically states under point 7. that the honorary badge has the shape of a horseshoe, is larger than the usual mountaineering badge and expresses the idea of the completed SPP.
Today I received this "honorary badge" by mail, to my surprise nothing larger than a 2€ coin, actually it's a badge with a hiker motif, no trace of the expressed idea.
Given that PZS has strict rules regarding awarding, by the way, I'm not after "titles", I hike for myself, but point 7 bothered me upon receiving the "badge". I'm interested, those of you who have completed SPP and received this "honorary badge", is yours also that size and does PZS not violate its own rules as named in the Diary of the completed SPP?

I called Blejska koča this morning and the caretaker said he'll ask passing hikers to look around and bring it to the hut if found, maybe someone put it in the box. I'll call the caretaker tonight to check. If you're really going, I'd appreciate it, I've stamped the "last station" from the Julian Alps. Thanks in advance.

if the weather is good this coming weekend, I plan to visit from Kot valley Rjavina, Begunski vrh with Cmir back via Vrbanove špice to Kot. Interested in conditions, snow, ice, is winter gear still needed? Awaiting your answers, thanks in advance .

Today I was on Golica via Javornikov rovt, wanted to stamp old transverse Javorniški rovt, guy at bar says 12 years it doesn't exist. PZS just messing? Why not announce, how to make up stamp or tell the commission responsible? Thought it'd be better since that lazy Ekar left but see same shit.

To report the conditions first-hand, although it was last week, up to today nothing has worsened, quite the opposite, improved.

Otherwise, conditions on Stenar are more than excellent, passage through the Stenar saddle is super, a bit of easier climbing, otherwise no problems. Descent via Sovatna on some parts due to hard ground needs a bit more caution.
In Gubno also excellent conditions, our variant of ascent and descent provided even details of alpinistic flavor.

We met Klemen Purkart on the trail, everything checks out as he wrote, fantastic day on Jalovec, insane views, sea right there in your hand, meteorologists were slightly off forecasting strong wind, thank God there was none, just occasional gusts that weren't anywhere near predicted. Day was almost perfect for the ascent to Jalovec.
