I've already browsed the forum a bit, but didn't find anything...

So, maybe someone knows a two-day tour suitable for children (6 years and 4 years), where we sleep in a hut. Start in the afternoon hours (approx. 2 hours walk to the hut), overnight in the hut and then the next day some more hiking (3-4 hours). A circular tour would be most suitable, so they don't get bored and there are interesting views on the way.

Thanks for suggestions.

Somewhere I read that this hike should be suitable for children too!!??

But I don't quite agree with that!
On Saturday we went to Kanin to D station, from there my son (almost 5 years) and I continued the path to the window. We did reach the window, but the path is way too dangerous - even for older kids! At least that's how it seems to me.

So, if you're heading up there with children - be careful!

@joža x: we also go to the mountains like that, but now they've been nagging me for some time that they want to sleep somewhere in the mountains.

@primoza: thanks for tips, super! I'll check a bit, over Štapce and similar paths are out though, because they are of the livelier sort and it's hard to rein them inmrk pogled
We once went on a similar path and I roped and belayed them, but I wasn't entirely satisfiedjezen

Irina,

we've already hiked more than half of that booknasmeh. I meant more that someone shares a two-day tour they've actually hiked with kids or know well. As you wrote, from experience.

These crampons are really super for walking and running on normal hiking paths. I use them mainly for the latter. They're light, durable, fit any footwear and you can easily put them in your pocket if you don't have a backpack.

But not suitable for high mountains and more demanding hiking paths.

Yesterday I finally headed to Stol - along the mentioned route described by klm.
Pretty tough thing, especially steep, but very nice. To the top I needed exactly 1:50. So, klm, you really ran this well!

Descent along the normal one, because I find Žirovniška too dangerous. You can easily twist on those sharp rocks...

I'll repeat... for sure!

klm, thanks!

For 1:20 you must have run really fasteek
Bravo!

@Bojan: how many meters exactly, if you measured, elevation from parking to Stol summit?

For next weekend I also plan this run. Have had it in mind for long...

This is really a nice tour!
I did it about 3 years ago. Nice view, bit of easy climbing (I., max. II.) on Škednjovec and nice fairly exposed ridge.
For 6- and 9-year-olds it's really a good, demanding tour! Bravonasmeh

I must repeat it soon!
