From Loka it's bare ground, there are some icy patches in between where the snow is packed down, but nothing serious if you're a bit careful. Verified today. Quite a few people around, gotta seize days like these.

We were yesterday, if you go from the direction of Okrešelj towards Savinjsko sedlo and then left there is on the path a small snow patch that doesn't cause problems, that's all for snow.

Thanks to both, we left the Ferrari in the garage and went with another car, and the road is really quite cool.
It was a nice outing, the mountain was basking in the sun, below everything in fog.

You can also visit Velika Planina (more info in English: http://www.velikaplanina.si/Home). It's around 1.5 hour driving from Maribor, but it's worth.

You can also cross the Pohorje (in 2 days) from Maribor to Slovenj Gradec and then by bus (or train from Dravograd) back in Maribor. On that way you can see Sumik fall (Slap Šumik), Lovrenska lakes (Lovrenška jezera) and few ski centers.

We too were on Golica today, start and finish at Planina, up the winter path, back the "usual". Super weather, nice views ... in short, a pleasant trip that ended with swimming in Lake Bled.

Super route for one day... especially the middle part is interesting, when along the path there are lots of vineyard farms, for a stop for a deciliter of red wine.
