How much time did you need for the whole path? Beautiful tour.

Tomorrow I'm going to Šmarna gora, gora, šmarko etc. Enjoyment will be the same regardless of the name.

Is descent possible via Škrbina pod Tratico to Planina Pecol or is it necessary to go back towards Špik, Hude police?

Does anyone have info on the condition of the path Remšendol, Mt. Schober, Vraška škrbina and down to Krnica? Somewhere I read that the part dashed on the map is hard to pass.

I don't know why so much fuss about someone saying they needed only a few hours for the ascent to Triglav. We've seen all sorts of records around Triglav from various "circus" shows with a swing on the top to be higher than Aljažev tower, not to mention a hundred women on Triglav etc. etc. As for time records everyone will anyway with years come to the "non-mountaineers" category or otherwise every racehorse's race ends once.

Tisa, that one can meet "forest honey lovers" in the Snežnik forests, these shots prove it. Taken from the car last week on the road from Sviščaki towards Mašun. Bear with three cubs.

What stupidities are we going to do more on Triglav just for the sake of own worthless promotion.

Also, the hutkeeper at the Dolič hut told me that all beds are already reserved for the weekend.

Yesterday I climbed over Komar to the hut at Dolič and then by the "normal route" back to the parking in Zadnjica. The ascent over Komar continuously in shade, which is really beneficial at these temperatures. Two young Czechs ahead of me on the way to Triglav. As usual with these visitors to our mountains, they threw an empty can on the path. The can went with me to the valley. By the way, how much does an empty Pilsner can weigh? The path over Komar is in excellent condition. Branches of scrub reaching the path have been sawn. If I'm not mistaken, this was done in spring by a known frequent visitor to this part of our mountains.

The path is drawn dashed with black color (I check with a magnifying glass too), but it is really poorly visible. It goes under Col di Spric 1852 m and further towards the ski area, where according to the JA western part map, it joins under Bela peč. Is that then path 635? Different maps, different path markings!

Good idea for next trip in this part of Julian Alps. Is the Antico path dashed on PZS map Julijske Alpe - western part in the direction of the ski area under the slope of Bela peč?

Heinz, do you have any experiences with dog encounters and reactions to such a reptile as in the picture from the top of Golica, photographed by gorski svizec. When I go to the mountains with the dog I'm always careful in suspicious places where we might encounter such specimens, especially in spring.

Nice words about Šmarna gora. It's true that we have such a mountain near Ljubljana that has so many different attractions in one place. Let's preserve what we have. As for money, I've also come to the mountain without a wallet several times, but the friendly staff in the inn always served me on credit.

.... and what is most important, that it's a protected cultural monument.

Regarding Viharnik's proposal about setting up an information board that would tell
about the historical monument at Aljaž Tower, it would really be smart to think about it. Triglav summit visitors would thus get info right there about who built the tower, when and why.
