Yesterday's trip to St. Trinity was an excellent decision. Start from Trnje, very nicely marked, at the beginning the path quite steep, then through the forest really pleasant. On the part where the sun doesn't reach there was still snow, but the coming spring is just too strong. So the path on that part was full of mud and puddles. A bit more and it will be better. When you come out of the forest and further towards the top it was really pleasant, a little windy. Views also to Julians, Karavanks.. In short it was a nice spring day. Lp

Yesterday's ascent to Blegoš was more than fairy-tale. After quick thinking go or not, I had another option in mind, but quickly decided for Blegoš. No regrets despite already afternoon hour. Wonderful views around, foggy sea below us, no wind, slightly breezy up top but mild temperatures were the icing on the cake. When the sun was already setting I quickly returned to the valley. Conditions nicely described by GITA already,

Clouds started gathering shortly before 13 if I recall, as shower caught us beyond Kriška on return... We started quite late and went up slowly. Daughter was with me so we walked slower because of her. Next time to Kriška it will be a different story. Cheers.

Yesterday we headed to Kriška gora. We started from in front of the church in Gozd. The path was very nice, very interesting benches and of course ingenious signposts. The weather was wonderful. At the hut on Kriška there was a slight breeze. We quickly decided to head also towards Tolsti vrh. A little before the summit we better turned back as a shower was approaching. And yes, lucky we hurried back. The shower caught us soon. But anyway it was fun, Tolsti for next round..

Yesterday we did the tour over Sedlo Suha-Golica-towards the hut and back to Planina pod Golico. The weather was excellent. We'll repeat the tour very soon... lp

I also visited Soriska in April but only to Možic as with kids. Started Bohinjsko sedlo direct path to Možic. In gully still huge snow sinking. Weather very warm for time no wind. Back same path soaked to knees but very glad son (5 yrs) managed tour. Soon plan visit all peaks really nice.. Lp

On Saturday 30.4 with my colleague we visited Snežnik. We started from Sviščaki. The weather was quite okay at the beginning, sometimes the sun showed up.. the higher we went towards the summit, the worse the weather was. The path was dry, not muddy at all. On the summit there was a sleet shower. The summit was in fog, no views that day. The return path was not friendly at all, muddy, slippery like hell, especially on rocks. Lower down it was nice. There were quite a few visitors. Next time I visit Snežnik, I'll make sure it's a nice sunny day Best regards

Yesterday I headed to Ratitovec again.
Went up via Povden, down via Razor. Weather sunny, quite strong wind below at Prtovč and on top at Krekova hut. Path now very nice on both sides. Due to SW wind view not quite five star but.. still nice day. But on the way up (via Povden) met a black snake so careful, esp on rocky part . Regards

Marjana, those pics were taken on Friday 25.3. and it was really a wonderful day. True, strong wind but you forget that.. view was phenomenal

Yesterday we went with a colleague from Davča, the trail is dry, on some shaded parts there's still a little snow left, there it's also a bit icy. Otherwise the trail is totally super, suitable also for cyclists. Have a nice weekend lp

Path via Povdn was yesterday a very good choice. But up there it was blowing fiercely. We survived that too. Otherwise phenomenal views.

True, it was the first, but spring-like not at all...

Thanks for the info, I was already wondering how it is up there now after that rainy week behind us, obviously not that bad. But it will change soon already in April.
