A few words about politeness... We're sitting in the dark in front of the hut at seven, likewise an innocent pup similar to a Scottish shepherd, and a guy rushes by with his kokrkva, without words kicks the lying dog along the way because it was by the path?? and speeds off. I hope at least the looks pierced him since words probably didn't hit him in the right place. Another one who only likes his own dog...

Sorry, maybe you were the one in opanke?! And don't get too upset, maybe you even agree that footwear is most important and of course time, not to rush and not push the child too much, to take time for rest and not plan too long a tour in one day. Of course I intend to equip him with everything else too, since he's very enthusiastic about high mountains and I'll take him more often in the future. So far we've visited e.g. Golica, Porezen, Velika Raduha, Okrešelj... Not moralizing, just writing what I see and posting some nice pic. Lp until next report from the field

18.8. were on Kanin with 8-year-old son, all wearing gojzarji and with lots of water and sunscreen. Up there you see a young guy in opanke, with toes wrapped in tissues in sandals, rushing to the window, around to the hut or e.g. a middle-aged lady in 5cm heels... No wonder rescuers have so much work, people don't even think where they're going. Also annoyed me a couple where the dog took an Italian lady for a walk to the window. Yesterday I went alone again to beautiful Gorenjska - Vrtača direction. On path two ladies from Tržič accompanied me, greet them nicely and thank for lots of botanical knowledge. Nice weather that can really turn bad quick...

Yes, it is really nice! We also went to Raduha as a family. The sun was scorching, we met quite a few hikers, many foreigners, and the first impression on the top disturbed me...
I packed it into my backpack, as well as the bottles on Studorski pass 14 days ago, since I can't imagine the look of the summit if each of us 50, 100 or more hikers threw a banana peel there, even though it decomposes over time.
Why is it so hard for you to carry empty stuff down from the top, but you can carry full up?
Where the donkey rolls, it leaves hair...

28.6. my friend Naniko and I went on the circular path to Stol. We took some wonderful photos, we were kindly served in Prešeren hut, where we slept and experienced a surprise from the caretakers, as they baked us pancakes gratis for my birthday one day before!
Thanks again for the gesture and all the friendliness, which you don't often get.
