01-11-2022: The starting point of the excursion on the Strada del Verdiso is the Combai parking lot. Here via pedestrian crossing we reach the center and take left Via Vecchia for Miane from where the walk begins. Trail marker no. 1025 will be the track to follow for the entire route. On a path in the woods we approach the center of Miane, then go right on Via Calcher. At a junction go right again, pass a few hairpins and now walk among the vineyards in the Calchèra area climbing rapidly in elevation in Val da Ros. From here there is a first view of Follina, Monte Cesen and Pian delle Femene. We pass through the Val da Ross area, and reach the intersection with Via Ronch. Turn left and after 200 meters we arrive at the Pian de Combai junction where we keep left once again. We continue on a slight uphill now on a paved road, then dirt, which cuts the slope diagonally and quickly arrive at the top of the ridge near Casera Gabrèl at 400 meters. We now continue along the ridge flat and reach another dwelling, Casera Pieri. Turn right and begin the descent phase on the other side of the mountain with a stunning view towards the Tenade hill, Col Visentin and Cansiglio. After about 700 meters we arrive at the base of the hill where we take Via Cava. On a comfortable path we now walk slightly uphill immersed in splendid vineyards and reach a hairpin located in Pajera area. Further ahead we encounter a junction where we keep right on Via Casale Vacca. We reach the large cross and begin to descend into the woods then quickly climb up the opposite side, on a fairly winding stretch among the vineyards in Baiosa area. Here you need to check the red marks on the vineyard poles indicating the right direction. From here you can admire the typical landscape of the Prosecco Hills with viticulture reaching all the hilltops.
