We are in a democracy and market system. The site's authors have the right to do with it what they want, people also have the right to comment on novelties, debate about them, complain,... visit the site or not and if they know how to remove something unpleasant for them, do that too.

We had democracy 20 or more years ago, what we have today is legalized fraud and scam. I agree with @VanSims on everything else.

Exactly all the rest that VanSims mentioned is democracy!

Then let all those who post regularly also pay if some are starting to get greater benefits from this site. After all it takes quite some time for writing, uploading pictures....why give it all away then.

If the "search" function also worked as well as these ads pop out it would be really nice.

@IgorZlodej You need to make an effort with searching. Namely, whoever tries gets tired and whoever searches finds it Without ads though, so they say, we wouldn't tire nor find

These ads are really something completely unnecessary, annoying for such a good and quality portal. Especially since hribi.net is narrowly focused on a specific narrow circle of nobler mountain lovers, as these ads shoot from everywhere and there is already a sea of them on TV, billboards, shops, Pop TV, then they stuff mailboxes daily (lucky that this junk gets burned in the stove in winter at our place). This badly affects the spiritual level of a person and especially things that offer themselves usually have no value. I think there is plenty of space for proper ads on the portal's front page to get funds for maintenance and some earned honorarium.

Instead of ads, hribi.net could improve by adding photos like facebook or picasso does, when you just click and it loads automatically. Each photo separately, waiting, almost despair. , that's why I only managed to add 5-6 photos at a time, once even 56 that was a feat

If I think well, I'd say these intrusive and flashing ads that are already fraying our nerves a bit don't really benefit anyone much. Those of us who have been on these web pages for quite some time will probably continue to fight the flood of such and other ads each in our own way and somehow remain loyal to this portal, but due to the ad madness it will be harder to gain new users, which of course means a likely drop in viewership of these pages. So here the authors or moderators have nothing to gain, as finances can only go backwards. In my opinion, even companies that advertise or relay ads this way can't benefit much from it, because if the ad is not delivered user-friendly and non-intrusively, it certainly can't have a positive effect. If the advertiser doesn't use the right approach to the customer, it can achieve exactly the opposite effect from the desired one and that's probably what's happening in this case. In any case, I welcome all ads related to hiking, which suits this portal best, I don't oppose other ads either if they are delivered in a more appropriate way.

These ads on the portal are a catastrophe in one word.. Wanting to see photos in one of the topics on current conditions I click on the photo. And a new ad window opens. Of course I ignore it, and close the previous window. I click on a new photo and the story repeats. And so to the last photo, at the end a whole bunch of new open windows. Is such forcing of portal users normal?? That's all I ask myself... The answer is known to all of us...

@Lunca, look carefully there's less of everything regular female contributors and contributors, both the hardcore ones and the excursion ones . . . . descriptions of where and how someone was and how it was . . . . on the other hand Arnej and I are becoming better friends. What will it be like when I get the Nikon

A market niche is opening for someone new in this place. Which isn't bad at all, people love changes, not daily scamming with ads. On cable I have 100 channels and can switch if the program doesn't suit me, here I'll just look for another provider of mountain content.

@Lunca sad, up or down, one nice portal has already gone to hell (forums on PZS pages) And almost all of us moved here. And it was nice. Then there was a scene because of the "Where with dogs . . . " rubric and there was a quarrel. And it passed, the quarrel that is, then the mountain lover "scared" us one way or another (mountain lover don't be mad, I write and think positively !) . . . then some were mad at some and others at third parties and the admins tuned the "dolls" and now some vote on the "expert" side and others on the "artistic impression" . . . and when we already went through quite a bit, the ads "flew in" . . . Hribi Portal is author's work, so we know who the owner is. And the owner has the right to make the portal as it is or different. And we have the right to accept or not accept the portal as it is. Posts like trip-report experiential ones are almost gone. Only bare conditions like do I need this and that . . . every end and start of season the same. Let's be surprised And take care of each other and laugh a lot

I'm asking for help how to solve the problem: does it happen to anyone else, in case I'm viewing the described route in photos, unexpectedly iprom.net appears in the taskbar and a white screen, which I then have to close and if I'm lucky, I see some photo again, then it automatically shows iprom.net again... I'm just getting into computers, and it already annoys me. Ads are nothing compared to this nuisance. Lp

@jana1966 you're not the only one I'm just too lazy to delve into it so top right I click the red X . . . sometimes . . . sometimes then the whole day or more I don't open Hribi

If you have newer Internet Explorer, under internet options - privacy, check the box "turn on popup blocking". Hope moderator won't delete.
