Today at 16:30 a flock of loud cranes (probably) flew over Medvode from north to south in scattered groups. The larger one counted about 50 birds, the others were smaller.

Like this, a gull (is it a gull?) was posing on a rock in Piran and wasn't disturbed at all by passing bipeds of some other animal order.

This morning I was at the bus station in Škofja Loka. Saw something unusual. Across the street at least ten storks were flying around. There were already some nests on those tall trees. A bit unusual. Didn't manage to photo it. You can see for yourselves it's true.

When they migrated to warmer places in autumn I didn't see them even once. Today at 15h flock of some 60 cranes in irregular V formation flew over lower Vipava valley towards NE. Very early return...
