pikica1, where did you see it? Sometimes it can be determined by the observation area.

Sometimes you need a bit of luck to spot them The Saturday little beauties showed themselves to me only for a short time. Enough to cheer me up

Nice deed, pikica, that you helped the little birds fly out of the nest. Now they will return for a long time and sing around your windows, in winter they will come to eat in the birdhouse that you surely have.

Every life that is saved makes you happy. Yesterday on the way to work a squirrel jumped onto the road, but then jumped back and saved its life. I was grateful to it for acting that way, because if I had run it over, it would have saddened me.

Pikica1, great deed for the tiny birds. The praise from the heart was already written by Zlatica.

Thanks everyone This year I've noticed that lots of wrens and blackbirds have nested in our garden. It's quite lively. In winter it will be too, as always My old dad told me that if you save some little animal from certain death, it will accompany you on your last journey so you're not alone. He knew how to tease me, the animal lover

On Friday on Strmi peči I think I saw an alpine swift for the first time in my life. The sickle-winged bird is so fast I couldn't photograph it. But you can literally hear it whipping — like it sings whip.

Ring ouzel, some call it mountain thrush (scientific name Turdus torquatus) is a songbird from the thrush family living in forests of higher altitudes in Central and Northern Europe. Ring ouzel looks like a thrush and is 23-27 cm in size. In body build similar to blackbird. Males are overall dark brown, except for a white crescent-shaped patch on the breast and yellowish bill. Wing tips silvery due to fewer white feathers. Females simpler colored. (source: Wikipedia) Photographed on Planina Seče in Karavanke
