After many years my husband and I repeated this path today - I quite forgot how steep it is, and of course much more trodden. And quite some "company" too... I'm happy meeting or being overtaken by so many young people... The day was gorgeous, sunny, warm. Path dry all the way, no snow and today not icy at all.

Slept in the bivouac under Skuta next day to Turkish Mountain and Carinthian Rinka. Wonderful views over Kamniška Bistrica, romance under the stars and great sunshine for visiting both mentioned peaks.

Uff, there's enough snow. Icy, you just need a few minutes and you're already on the path over the ridge. Current conditions are not safe for e.g. Kr. Rinko, unless slab. We need some warm weather, end of February is coming. All Friday snow above 2000m blown to height 1300-1600m.

Bravo, bravo, nice pics! You really shouldn't be given Redbull to drink, you're like a torpedo, good that it doesn't shoot you to the sky under the summit? For such a thing I have too little experience, going in 14 days to Velka for course, and 2x Redbull up ass then we'll see where I'll be shot, hope at least to one seat. Keep going like that and good luck.

Smatjaz: redbull is because of the fastest car in f1, I avoid energy drinks (that's just poison).
5xum: no panic about avalanches, as I say higher above 2150m it would be more likely.
Tone: you're right it's not officially marked, I said that because someone marked it with red paint, just like primoza said.
