Short hike. From Studenice and back to Studenice. Goal was water reservoir Hrastovec on Boč. Relatively mežikanjemaybe uninteresting spot. nasmehBut important. Enabled stable water supply. For locals and many weekenders on northern part of Boč. Mostly forest road base. Afternoon combination of bike and walk. Junction in Stara Drevesnica on Boč. Goal of short activity. Sultry in valley by Dravinja river. Higher up some coolness in distinctly forest part. After rain comes sun as the saying goes... Still cloudy in central part of afternoon.. Short hike to Boč above Studenice. No real goal today and turned around where I had enough ascent...Strava/Boč above Studenice, 03.07.2016Easy route mostly forest roads. Pleasant nasmehit was!

One relatively mežikanjeeasy ,,hike,, to 822m high Plešivec. Much more cycling than hiking route. Mostly on more and less paved forest roads. Ascent below Stavski peak, descent over Formilo clearing and below Kisovec. After night and morning rain two short showers on route...Pešpoti/Plešivec822 summit,17.07.2016 and Strava/Plešivec822,17.07.2016...Pleasant nasmehit was.Lp

Hiking through Stara Drevesnica and Formilo clearing deep into the world of Kostrivnica area of Boč in late Sunday afternoon from Studenice. Goal was Čače vas area and main point was church of St. Marjeta. High in Boč under one of higher peaks - Hrastovec. Central northern ridge of Boč from Zgornje Poljčane to junction with Studeniška path to Boč. At junction sharp left along Studeniška path through Lajše area to end of area or point where distinct forest path turns into wider forest gully. Return back to Zgornje Poljčane on identical track. Path mostly dry, sunny with some north and east winds. It was a pleasant hiking route and also vista in northern part of Boč...

In three kilometers three paths...All three in terms of connections and basic traversability of Boč directly above Zgornje Poljčane. Ascent along Strma path or basic ridge of Boč. Studeniška path continuing as connector to junction with Detička path. Descent along Detička back to Zgornje Poljčane. All three with strong patina of past decades, probably centuries too...Paths dry, sunny and no wind. Northern area of Boč in width to the greater pasque flower site on Boč from Studenice in combination of old Roman road and Studeniška path to Boč. After night rain relatively wet and slippery path. Site in typical autumn dormant state circled and immediate return back to Studenice. Excellent insight into northern world of Boč is the track of this path. No precipitation, with some wind and sun. In Lajše area or Stara Drevesnica practically always rewarded with mouflon sighting! Today from Studenice to Lajše area and smaller herd was somewhere in late afternoon changing location from day to evening/night. Path soaked, partly muddy, no wind in partly cloudy weather...

Boč all day in fog. It had a ,,cap,,. 600 meters was somewhere the height of lower fog level. Hiking ,,incursion,, deep into/on Rogaška area of Boč from Studenice and back. Grilova chapel, point with strong spiritual note surely true goal practically on ,,courtyard - entrance gates,, of Rogaška Slatina. Stara Drevesnica, Formila clearing, partisan hospital, natural climbing wall on Boč, hunters' home LD Rogaška Slatina, Gavez homestead and more…some of important points along path. Summer colors of nature still prevailed on path but autumn shades increasing…Path soaked and muddy on some sections. Yes, this too is - and was Boč in one atypical/extended pleasant combination. Who hikes this, practically no one but north-south line with some west/east touch in three hours and few minutes, nasmehexcellent cross-section of central part of Boč on Sunday 23.10.2016...Strava/Grilova kapela na rogaškem delu Boča,23.10.2016Best regards!

Stara Drevesnica on Boč goal of short hiking activity from Studenice and back. Combination of western/ascent and eastern/descent paths through Stara Drevesnica. Connection between them with help of forest road leading to top of Boč. Above 550/600 meters quite some snow that was frozen. No wind.
