There is one overhanging section. @Skovik also mentions it in his description. The via ferrata difficulty is rated by the hardest part. Less than C/D it isn't.

Via ferrata in Lavamünd has grade C and to me it's more demanding than this one on Boč, which you VanSims rate as D???

Haven't been to Lavamünd yet, but it's planned. As far as I see the topo on bergsteigen.at it has one short but really short C, the rest is all easier.
To me Boč seemed slightly harder than e.g. Mojstrana (C, locally D) and noticeably harder than e.g. Heidsteig (C). The latter varies a lot in difficulty along the route but has two consistently long C sections (short part even C/D).
But this is just my subjective opinion.

In the colors of autumn, partially colored Boč. Today a short hike to the western area. Been several times to the westernmost peak of Boč - 481 meters high and unnamed. Between the starting point Lovnik/Panzeršpere and saddle Pečica, some dozens of meters above the marked hiking trail between Dolga gora and Boč summit. An easy non-demanding activity just before the end of daylight on the last Thursday in October. Trails dry, temperature optimal and no wind...

Grassland clearing Formila on Boč [was the] main goal of today's hiking activity. Weather for the last day in October certainly optimal and the trail was dry with plenty of already fallen leaves. Route in loop shape on easy base mainly forest roads...

Between Golnik and Stara Drevesnica along the most original Old Roman road higher into the world of Boč. To grassland clearing Formila and back. Terrain soggy and quite windy. Some light snow in/near Furmanova obora and on the clearing Formila itself. Spring of Studeniški/Topli stream down in the valley quite active after all-night rain...

Stara Drevesnica from Studenice and that via western path to junction with forest road to top of Boča. And back of course. Below in valley of Studeniški/Topli stream no snow but still solid winter impression because at this time narrow area of monastery complex doesn't reach sun. Higher there were few cm of dry snow on ground and trees snow-covered for some pre-holiday atmosphere...Highest reached altitude 740 meters.

Area ,,Čretves,, on Boč is easily reachable. Today in short hiking activity in/through this area on dry paths and in windy weather. Ascent via first part of Baba path and descent via first part of Detička path is somewhere complete Čretves. Already distinct limestone world with deciduous forest/beeches and some conifers...

Čača vas on Boč and subsidiary church Sveta Marjeta basic goal of short hiking activity. Via the steepest ,,Roman path higher into world of Boča directly below Formila. Snow height surprised up to 30 centimeters still mostly dry. Yes pleasant was wading in silence of whiteness northern part of Boča...
