Hiking  "incursion" deep into the Rogaška area of Boč from Studenice and back. Grilova chapel, spot with strong spiritual note definitely the real target practically on the "courtyard - front gate" of Rogaška Slatina. Stara Drevesnica, Formila meadow, partisan hospital, natural climbing wall on Boč, hunters' lodge LD Rogaška Slatina, Gavez homestead and more on the way there and back...
Trail dry in some sections also frozen. Yes, this too is - and was Boč in one atypical/extended pleasant combination. Who walks this, practically no one but north-south line with some west/east touch excellent cross-section of central Boč on Wednesday 02.01.2019.

Hunters' lodge Rogaška Slatina and Gavez homestead on Boč central points of short circular hiking activity. Afternoon one that "fell" into evening. Two, three millimeters of snow for some "little" winter touch and not even along the entire trail. No more wind, muddy sections frozen and that was it...

Well, let me add to your ramblings my today's impressions myself.
From Studenice pathless, then along the road for a while to Boč summit. Quite a few hikers from all directions, of course from Studenice alone. Weather gorgeous, unfortunately camera left at home. Sledding and other fun in front of the hut. Really beautiful day.
Maybe you were that cyclist I saw from our forest path, actually steep ascent to the road.

Partisan hospital on Boč, monument from WWII goal of short hiking activity. Start and end in Studenice settlement. Ascent somewhat to the left or eastward towards Makole. Descent somewhat more direct from clearing or pass Formila between Golnik and Kisovec....Strava/Partisan hospital on Boč,01.09.2019Temperature around 30 Celsius in clear weather and some freshness in Boča forests/nights are a bit less warm these days. Refreshment with water at the end at the fountain in Studenice was excellent/necessary...
