No, it only stung me - for very well-prepared mountaineers ... but walking is walking - good hikers who are used to it too... how much is the ascent itself on the path, ... it's a nice full-day walk.

Dear professor, warmly invited to the Saturday full-day WALK on HPP. We start at 4.00 at Borl and arrive late afternoon at the goal, Donačka gora. I think 65 km won't be too much for you!!??
Hats off to the terminator, few such ultra-hikers like him. I'd ask you, since there were hikers from Tržič, for a photo. Best regards! Lajči
nice path, but really long....1

You're right, I meant from Tržič. The typing error wasn't due to such great fatigue, since then I wouldn't have gone to write, but rather too quick text submission. Regarding mocking the error, here's this: After the tour I sat in one of the pubs in Poljčane drinking beer. A middle-aged lady passed by, tripped on the curb and almost fell. Luckily she didn't. At the next table sat a man and a woman who started laughing loudly at the lady's near "accident" and amusing themselves. It wasn't funny to me at all, anyone can trip and how would you feel if laughed at. For me that laughing woman was a primitive. Such must live too, good we're different. Hope some found themselves in this context. As for fatigue and the feat, which it is for me, the tour was strenuous, walked very fast, sometimes ran, with all ascents and descents over hills overcame 2600m elevation (from altimeter data). So kudos to those doing 65km as one writer says. Still good prep for upcoming (three hearts marathon in Radeče and summer high tours). Greetings to all sportsmen and mountain lovers. If typing error again, forgive me.

Regarding the photo that lajcicar asked me for, I must say I unfortunately don't have the photo with the group from Tržič.

Nice weather we enjoyed today, we used with family for exploring Boč. Enjoyed views, nice paths, educational trail and more. Nicest part of the path and imagination stimulation definitely in Balunjači. You know how kids immerse in cave heroes images. Another nice family tour! LP Andrej

Early morning in a foggy morning the path led us towards Boč. After yesterday's rain the path was muddy and slippery, at the top windless, at the hut the sun awaited us. Wonderful mountain outing. LP Lajči

Afternoon hiking on forest roads in landscape park Boč & Plešivec from starting point Podboč east to Dedni vrh above Makole. Return via crag, Formila clearing and mountaineers' hut on Boč back to Poljčane. Four hours of pleasant walking, partly in fog or sun, just right for a nice conclusion of Saturday afternoon.

A friend called me if I had time and we were already driving towards Poljčane. Parked at the first bend in the forest and headed along the educational trail to the top, on the path a couple of cm of snow just enough to be slippery underfoot. At the top wind and nice views and sunset awaited us. Descent to the hut where we caught the last drink before the hut closed at 17:00. Then over Baba back to the car.

Today, as the cold morning gave way to the afternoon, my goal was the Šošterica waterfall on Boč above Makole in the direction of the Stari grad settlement. Šošterica, called Šuštarica in some sources, is according to available sources the extreme Slovenian northeastern consolidated site of Eocene limestones whose feature is that they consist of numerous remains of algae, shell fragments, brachiopods, mollusks, worms, sea urchins... Easily accessible from Makole and excellently marked with direction signs. Interesting lesson and new insight into the diversity of Boč's geological world...

Exceptionally by car via Makole to the starting point + hike, otherwise it's cool more "down" - at the foot of the Makole part of Boč, since the activity took place between 333 - 426 elevation meters... Of course, as seen from the pictures, Šošterica is definitely reachable by bike except for the last few meters...

On Monday afternoon, 3.1.2011 hiking to the landscape park Boč & Plešivec from the starting point Pritensko above the settlement Podboč. On the way at the junction before Formilo I decided for the ascent to the top of 822m high Plešivec. Ascent along the marked Styrian-Zagorje path which I joined below the Gavez farm or the Rogaška Slatina hunting lodge and then descent along the forest road. Snow only a sample and to spice up the path, but in the frost pockets between Formilo and the climbing area it was really freezing...

Today we attended the traditional winter ascent organized by PD Poljčane. Weather was cloudy, conditions wintery, up on the tower Siberian conditions prevail. For descent from the top crampons recommended. Regards Lajči

Yesterday I went from Zgornja Kostrivnica to Boč. I met a lot of hikers who attended the traditional hike. Around 700m snow started accompanying me. On the top of Boč there was a real winter idyll. Although visibility was poor, I experienced a very nice winter day.
