Many thanks. I think that fresh snow has already melted, and even if it were it's surely soft and you sink into it. Problem is old snow which is hard.

Today I walked the circular path Ljubelj - Zelenica hut - Begunjščica - Roblek hut - Prevala hut and through Born's tunnels back to Ljubelj. Paths are well maintained, no sign of snow.

were there yesterday with team from PD Špetr/Cedad(FJK), weather so-so, company great, thanks to Preval and Roblek hut owners, paths nicely maintained (thanks trail markers) and best regards to Uroš.

Today Romana and I started hiking at Ljubelj, via Born path to Preval, then via Kalvarija to the main summit, descended via Smokuški glade to hut at Završnica spring, where we ate buckwheat mush and sour milk. Path nicely passable, on Kalvarija I removed some dry spruce tops. Regards.

In the morning we set off in light rain to Planina Prevala to check if they really cook the best struklji there. Struklji (huge, by the way) look gorgeous and are a real delight for the taste buds. I admit they are the best I've eaten, so besides the beautiful varied path, another reason to visit the Prevala hut. Despite gale-force wind threatening to blow you away with the hut :-). Path surprisingly dry given recent rain, views opened only on return when sun broke through clouds.

Yesterday walked this circular path: Born's tunnels-Prevala Pasture, Rožca Pasture, Roblek hut-Begunjščica (Veliki vrh)-marked path to Zelenica-Zelenica-Ljubelj. Sunny weather and superb views especially to Julijci. Path extremely nice, only section to Zelenica a bit uncomfortable, which you can shorten by descent over scree. At summit snack with coffee. Don't leave food on ground, they take it all . Very cold at Zelenica with frozen ground. At end jumped to Triangel then back to Ljubelj. Nice loop tour worth repeating in opposite direction.

Since even inexperienced and children walk the Born path, I think it's appropriate to warn that the path before tunnel entrance is washed away and now risk of slipping there.

Born's path is not a marked hiking trail, nevertheless at the request of Tržič Municipality the chief of markers from PD Tržič did an inspection tour and on the mentioned section before the first tunnel did minor earthworks to widen the path.

I wouldn't mention the trip, but I want to tell whoever "shit" behind the tunnel during the day to bring a bag next time.
Mushrooms grow everywhere, also on Roblek.

Yes, some other things (glasses,..) were on the shelf. The hostess packed it all, put it to dry and said they're waiting for you.
