The path dry and pleasant to walk, two short stops, Zelenica buckwheat and milk, at Prevala struklji. Some years have passed since we flew down Begunjščica on T-24. Lp.

A few days ago, when my friend and I after a full day wandering around Begunjščica and all three huts around it were finishing our trip at Ljubelj where we also started, we experienced at least for me unacceptable behavior, to not say worse.
At the exit from the last tunnel, we had to literally crawl out of it.
The tunnel was literally buried with "scree".
First I thought natural forces caused it, but young alpinists immediately proved me wrong. They were just finishing their alpinistic achievements in "Šentanske walls".
They packed their gear and with scree in fast descent descended towards the end of the tunnel. As befits such descent, a larger amount of scree went with them and piled a bit more at the entrance-exit in-out of the tunnel.
Now the question arises who will prevent the final burial of the entrance-exit from the tunnel.
-PZS and PD Tržič will categorically prove that this path is not in the register of hiking paths.
Municipality of Tržič and local Tourist Association that this path is not in their register.
Since I strongly doubt anyone will act to fix it, it saddens me greatly that such a beautiful and remarkable path will go into oblivion and be completely destroyed.

Everything is indeed relative, so one can show off one's smarts.
About 2 years ago I went out of the tunnel upright (I'm 183cm), last time on all fours. In the army we called that "crawling".
At the rate it's going now, the tunnel will be completely buried by next year. Check pics from older posts and compare with current ones. Let someone take a photo of you at the entrance so we can see how you "BENT LOW".

Miri, what does fitness have to do with it? The debate is about how high the tunnel entrance is and I believe someone almost 190 cm tall has to go on their knees, especially if they have a backpack on their back.

To solve this problem, no expert opinion is needed, let alone a professional service. What is needed is good will from an individual or two persons, a pickaxe and a shovel, maybe a wheelbarrow too, then cart some gravel into the ditch on the wet area. The rest is thrown out from in front of the entrance-exit; one needs to watch that it doesn't fly down to the road. Years ago, when checking the path for Tržiških 24, I cleaned problematic parts of the path: Dobrča-Prevala, Košutica, Ljubeljščica ridge. ETC. That way progressing on the path is easier. My motto is, " where I often move, I also do something on the path. " Regards J.

Still, soon some work action will be needed, as the mentioned filling-up in previous posts is getting worse every day.
Also I (178 cm) today (10.8.2021) squatted quite deep at the entrance (on return, the exit) to the tunnel.
