Pohodnic53 sorry for late reply, if you've done the hike already you know what the road to Prvine is like, if not then let me tell you, the road is plowed and sprinkled with sand so with winter tires no problem to Prvine, to the planina the path is always trodden and there's a track made even if it snows, as there are quite a few of us who go up even if snow up to our ass. Best regards and good luck.

Thanks anyway, I didn't dare decide on the spot, in case it wasn't passable, especially since I have some km drive before; now I'll use it; thanks

Yesterday and today on Čemšeniška planina fairly nice weather, sun broke through the fog, lots of hikers from all directions, most from Prvine direction. Best regards and happy trails.

Also in our local hills a lot of snow fell, almost half a meter in drifts even more, also below Čemšeniška planina avalanches are sliding, if anyone plans to go from church sv.Promož through Ravne and along the edge of the planina to the top I tell you, track made to Ravne there I decided today to turn back, fog and avalanches, from Prvine nicely trodden path, pictures say more. Best and safe.

Does anyone know if wild garlic is sprouting around there already?

For Čemšeniška, don't know, but definitely lots on the way to Kum...where they offer very good wild garlic soup. Regards!

10 days ago the top of Čemšeniška planina (around the hut) was full of wild garlic.

Today that plant was covered with snow, when I went from Krvavica to Čemšeniška planina, the snow starts somewhere in the middle of the planina from the direction from Guneta towards the planina. Best regards and good luck.

Yesterday we ascended from the village Razbor at the cargo cableway to Čemšeniška planina. The path is partially steep, well maintained and runs mostly through forest. The hut on Čemšeniška planina was open, the surroundings very nicely arranged. We continued to Črni vrh and then descended via the pasture planina where sheep grazed past the chapel of St. Primož. Views to Zasavsko hribovje opened from the path.

Attack of Styrians on Čemšeniška Planina, it already shows who is the new tenant of the hut on Čemšeniška Planina, allegedly some Styrian woman

dear čemšeničan! I too was on čemšeniška when those quads were up there, and I can tell you they were zasavci who rented the vehicles in Celje. They rent these things over the weekend to let off steam, but driving in the hills is not right at all. I don't understand why Styrians would bother you? Aren't you doing some kind of tourism? Is that only from Zasavje?

Please provide information about the path from Ločica pri Vranskem to Čemšeniška planina. Is the path marked or are there maybe some orientation issues and where the path actually starts in Ločica. Maybe something about path difficulty and current conditions. Thanks in advance for the reply.

@bruny if you'll be hiking around Čemšeniška planina again, I recommend visiting Kozica hill, which lies on the path between Ločica and Čemšeniška planina. The path sticks to the ridge of Kozica all the way, leads through forest and rocks, which surprised me a lot when I visited. Best regards!
