The hut on Čemšeniška planina is open in September every day except Monday and Tuesday. In the months that follow, it will be open only on weekends. Tel. for info 031/530-140

I'm tempted to first-time conquer the top of Čemšeniška planina, Črni vrh today (Saturday)... I have this partly circular route in mind:

Loke – Krvavica – Črni vrh – Zajčeva hut - Loke

Milan invites me in the morning to Čemšeniška.
I've been interested in his circular variant for quite a while, which he explains to me.
Part of Zasavsko hribovje is in the sun in the morning, part in mists. Meadows lightly whitened by the cold front, otherwise no special frost. Mud..
Along the path we pick wild garlic leaves that have just emerged. Taste already quite strong, as is the smell, while we talk during short breaks. Towards the hut some icy snow. Sun/mists alternate.
At the hut we sit a bit, then over Črni vrh and unmarked descent towards Krvavica. Sun already pleasantly warms us as we admire the red walls of Krvavica.
For circular path cca. 12 km took 3:30 h.

Praise for the markers who removed the blue marks.
But someone is messing around, has put an obstacle, a fallen blue bench on the path.
Picked wild garlic and dandelion. This time 14 days earlier than usual.

Cloudy all morning. Nearby peaks in fog, dew and rainbow towards Letuš.
We head towards Krvavica. Summit in fog, Čemšeniška not even visible.
At Krvavica summit fog, windy, after short stop we descend the other side.
Čemšeniška in fog all the way to the top. At the hut on Čemšeniška short break. In thick fog we climb towards Črni vrh. Don't visit the summit, but descend the other side.
After 4:15h back at start. Wash mud off shoes in the stream and home.
Path wet, muddy and slippery. At Čemšeniška 4°C, otherwise warm in valley no rain.

or maybe better some other path to Čemšeniška, its own summit?

Prvine, Čemšeniška Planina, Črni vrh, Vrhe and Sveta Planina. Wonderful views. Path very well marked and nicely passable.

I'll put it under the nearby topic, if someone repeats, a new one can be opened.
Yesterday before dark along the low forest ridge above the DARS base. I watched it many times from driving on the highway, but didn't know what to expect. How to approach and descend is probably senseless to recommend. Most main landmarks on maps hold. When I returned late in the evening from Grmada scratched, wet to the neck and muddy to the socks, reached the road, I realized - recommend to lovers of the most senseless forest pathsnasmeh A few pics from the two-hour ramble...

Due to bad weather forecast we skipped Čemšeniška, but first to Zajčeva hut, where duty staff were busy cooking, and to Krvavica.
Big surprise when we met a cross-country biker. Interesting - they conquered Čemšeniška.
They chose the hiking trail for their track. Well, great, the path is quite destroyed in some places. Big problems on descent, as you can only slide down. Mud. In short no one does anything. Why would they, if it's better not to see or hear anything. Sad that it's so. Where are the caretakers of this hiking trail? PD Trbovlje.
