Ok, guys, you're right, sure, it's a negligible percentage. So those 74 who died despite vaccination are negligible, collateral damage? Even though those 74 had relatives too, which Drago likes to appeal to so much, and who probably got vaccinated in good faith that vaccine would protect them from death.
Don't vaccinate, get corona and maybe die. Vaccinate, still get corona and maybe die. I repeat - why vaccinate then?
Searching net if any deaths recorded after fsme immun vaccine (against TBE), but can't find such data. Confirmed also by doctor Barbara Peče Breznik who says in 25 years of her work and TBE vaccinations no serious complications. And I trust such vaccine, not some novelty made in 10 months. Not against vaccination, just against vaccine that wasn't (sufficiently) tested.

>Don't vaccinate, get corona and maybe die. Vaccinate, still get corona and maybe die.
The logic is the same as, for example: Don't buckle seatbelt, crash and die. Buckle seatbelt, crash and die. Why buckle then.
Look, ppegan, nobody forces you to vaccinate. Vaccinate or not, your business. Just don't spread dumb data that doesn't hold up to basic checking.

ppegan, why get vaccinated. Everyone for themselves, based on the information they believe in, assesses whether it's worth getting vaccinated for them. I, for myself, assessed that at my age, with comorbidities, it's smarter to get vaccinated than to expose myself to the risk of a severe COVID course. Let me tell you that, based on my vaccination experience from high school years, for the next 40 years I didn't get vaccinated against the flu. Because I still like going to the mountains, the fact that COVID took 50% of lung capacity from my relative, who is younger than me, also encouraged me to get vaccinated. So he has to stop after 4-5 stairs and catch his breath a bit to manage further. So I preferred to get vaccinated, hoping the vaccine provides at least some protection and increases chances that I will climb some more mountains.

Another one comparing seatbelt with vaccine zavijanje z očmi No more stupid comparison? You buckle up because you know the seatbelt is safe and tested, because it was tested in various crash tests, which you can't say for the vaccine. The vaccine is safe, but not tested - I don't know how many times I have to write this so some will get what bothers me about this vaccine; it's not the same as the seatbelt, which is proven safe as it was checked 100x in different crash tests at different speeds. And in accidents, the problem is often in external factors you can't influence. If someone crashes into you and you die because of that, you can't influence that despite the seatbelt. But what you put into your body, you can.
Just, at the end, teach me which stupid data I was spreading so I won't in the future?

Janez52, very good answer which I fully respect. You assessed that you have more chances for a milder disease course with the vaccine, I that probably won't even know if and when I get it, since I'm healthy as a fir tree without any flus, colds, viruses mežikanje True though that vitamin C does wonders nasmeh

Two crashed, one was buckled, the other not.

The one who wasn't was completely unrecognizable, what, smeared like jam, so they could just scoop him up with a shovel. eek

The one who was buckled, though, still sat on his seat in exactly the same position as before the accident, as if he were still alive! velik nasmeh

Polona, if you already mentioned dead after vaccination (74), then it would be interesting to know how many died in that time of those who weren't vaccinated. Then it would be credible, comparable data; otherwise, you're loading again.

We drove quite a lot together in the car today, so I'm very curious who of us will end up in intensive care, or maybe both? mežikanje I'll report the result, so there'll be one more experience in the style of said-showed or grandma tells.

Becar, one about fear. As some fear getting sick, others fear vaccines or spiders and snakes. Not every snake you meet will bite you. Which fear is bigger, more real, judge yourself. A person who is afraid needs first to be understood, helped, not mocked. With mocking fear the person actually hides their own fear of something. Mom told me today about an acquaintance (49) who died of covid, otherwise healthy without comorbidities.

For consideration!
- You have risky contact and justified suspicion of possible rabies infection. You get four doses of vaccine in relatively short time interval and are protected against rabies lifelong (my own experience)
- Vaccination against TBE. Initial doses then regular boosters. Costs are quite high.
- If tick "vaccinates" you immunity lifelong because antibodies don't disappear. But recovery-treatment can be quite hard-tiring. No drugs against TBE (wife and grandson experience)
And now let person be wise and decide right decision.

Yes, I am afraid, but not for myself, but for loved ones, that I would infect them.
But I didn't get vaccinated just for myself, also for becar and many others up here. Among other things.

Well, finally a more normal debate. Regarding Polon's concerns - we said about that topic like fifty pages ago. That's unfortunately how it is with antiviral vaccines in the group of viruses transmitted airborne. Nothing else will happen even in ten years, you can't stop the air. Pros and cons. Pro and contra. As Primož says - Israel still shows as a success story. A bit of restraint will be needed, because it's a nation that lives relatively isolated in its surroundings due to lifestyle. Need to wait for some nation that is highly flowing daily with surroundings and the rest of the world. Psycho is stressing us all fully, anyway. So maybe better wait for the outcome of the drama about Becar, fear and father, and then go on living slowly...
p.s. nice contra example despite mass vaccination is Chile. So, we're not too smart, huheek

I generalized about fear. Maybe fear is not the right word, it's more about concern. E.g. Dragota was concerned for loved ones, me too and at least from our side we have protected parents for now regarding this virus. When I was sick myself, I was afraid for myself, because I'm a chronic patient and was afraid of complications, since I want to live longer! To many it's funny, let it be, I say nothing for that. I'm not ashamed that at a certain moment I was afraid of something or concerned about something. That's part of me, that's me and you have to live with it, be aware of it. When my daughter went to the store alone for the first time, I was also concerned how she would cross the street and so on. In the end, what happens happens, sometimes we have influence, sometimes not.nasmeh

The elderly know what concern for the neighbor is and we prove it physically also with vaccination.
So that we don't get infected and don't transmit the disease, even if we only get it with sniffling. Because then we are deadly dangerous for vulnerable groups.
But, younger generations, especially antivaxxers, don't care. Their life motto is egoism and arrogance. In all areas. Me and no one else.

Or, if I quote Tomazin at the accident under Stožič:
"From this tragic case I don't want to draw conclusions that younger generations of mountaineers are different from older ones. Sometimes I have the impression that in line with general social trends there is also more selfishness in the mountains, self-absorption, focus on own achievements and their promotion.“

Southern brothers say: “enough for the smart ones!”
