The ego problem is that ego is convinced of some of its ideas and in everything it reads, sees, hears, experiences it seeks only confirmation of its ideas and beliefs - selective reason. Of course there are reasons for such beliefs and ideas about other people in each individual, each has created them himself based on himself and his past experiences.
