"virus will return moment we lift lockdowns." - they'll vaccinate and can travel nicely again.
Had to give up part of their freedom and rights, yes! But that wasn't suffering for them. And one more thing: island states or no land border or closed (Korea), so easier control entries.

Excellent @Becar, you mentioned Denmark. Slovenia and Denmark currently have practically identical measures. Great that we're following the best. Or are the Danes copying Janša's measures?

Denmark's strategy is also based on "vaccinated, recovered and tested", the so-called Covid Passport. Only with this passport is entry to a restaurant allowed.

I see that some of you are very frustrated as your mistake is revealed more and more each day. That's why you take the debate too personally and resort to insults. The sooner you come to terms that it's a global scam (they scammed you too and that hurts the most), the better for you.
Hribolaznik, the point of the Denmark post wasn't the measures, but that there is no unexpected increase in mortality. The same applies to Germany, I posted a graph a while ago. These are the data where Dr. Unaware is waiting for written confirmation of data reliability from the Bundestag. So it's to be expected that some countries will have a slight increase in line with projections, of course some will deviate a bit plus or minus, as always. There might even be some countries with actual excess mortality, but mainly due to deaths from panic cancellations of necessary medical check-ups and procedures. I expect this mainly in the less developed European south. This aspect should also be treated as a crime against humanity.
Now off to work. Yes, some of us worked even more during the epidemic than before, at the expense of others who could barely change their underwear on time. The earnings were excellent, so I won't complain

As I said, I'll get vaccinated at the first opportunity with any offered vaccine. Even AstraZeneca. I'd prefer the newer Pfizer or Moderna approach, it's nicely explained here how mRNA vaccines work.
